I wish, for once, some Republican would tell a RICH idiot like Letterman that they are right - let’s soak the rich by starting with a 95% income tax and wealth tax rate on left wing entertainers that make millions a year to start.

I bet that would shut him up.

Reminds me of 2000 when the left knew Gore was going to lose. They actually called into our Tennessee talk shows to support Gore. Rob Reiner (yes, Meathead was a stereotype) called into the Phil Valentine show and whined aobut “the rich not paying their fair share” and “tax cuts” and Phil used his good old line “do you itemize?”.

Reiner, of course, said “yes” and Phil asked, “why? Why don’t you just pay on your gross or just write a check for more to the IRS since you are rich?”

And, as usual, the retarded idiot started screaming like his mommy wouldn’t let him have a candy bar at the store with crap like “I pay a lot (yes, a the low rates you complain about)” and the tried and true line of “do you what in Hollywood do for our community”....blah, blah, blah.

It’s like arguing with paint drying. Oh wait, paint drying is more intelligent.

I would do one better. I would tell a RICH idiot like Letterman, that, in order to be really fair, that the government should strip rich entertainers and sports figures of ALL their income except for the average American salary. Then the rich would really be paying their fair share.
