In an interview with NBC’s Jeff Rossen that aired on TODAY Monday morning, Charlie Sheen, the combative star of long-running hit “Two and a Half Men,” demanded a raise from approximately $2 million to $3 million per episode to come back to the set of the show. CBS and Warner Bros. Television have currently halted production for the show’s ninth season in the wake of Sheen’s very public rants against “Men” creator Chuck Lorre and Alcoholics Anonymous.
“I’m not angry, I’m passionate,” Sheen told Rossen. “It’s everybody thinks I should be begging for my job back, and I’m just going to forewarn them that it’s everybody else that’s going to be begging me for their job back.”
Though he claimed he has been swamped with offers for movies, Sheen said: “I am a man of my word, so I will finish the TV show. I’ll even do season 10, but at this point, [because of] psychological distress, oh, my God, it’s 3 mil an episode.”

Sorry wasn’t sure where to post this I did a search and couldn’t find anything posted, thought this would be entertaining for FReepers.
He is also the drunk who claimed his writer, who he made sure to point out was a Jewish man who changed his name to sound less Jewish, was a loseer. I assume that is Charlie’s assumption, although I can’t imagine being Jewish in Hollywood is a deterrent to having a job. Anyway, charlie said his writers, etc sleep with their ugly wives and have ugly children and loser lives. Apparently Charlie isn’t bright enough to realize those hookers and porn whores are being paid to be with him. So the Jewish Writer “Loser” (yeah I’d like to have his loser income!) has a wife and children but Charlie has to pay hookers to touch him.
This is a publicity goldmine, and the network stands to make huge money off this debacle. Sheen knows this.

Ok, I watched the ENTIRE video and if he is drunk or on drugs. He is living in a delusional wonderland that I would imagine is from too many years of destroying his brain with drugs and booze, I mean $20,000 of cocaine in one night!!!???!!! How does one not die off that much cocaine, I'm sure he was sharing but after so much partying when does the liver and kidneys shut down?

There's a famous Hollywood quote that applies to Charlie, "I don't pay them to have sex, I pay them to leave." Paying means no commitment, no alimony.
I'm not a fan of Martin Sheen or his liberal politics, but I'm willing to give him a pass on this one. Just because Martin Sheen isn't going in front of the cameras every day to speak about his son doesn't mean that he isn't concerned. Charlie Sheen is completely out of control, and absolutely no one, including his father, can reason with him at this point.

I am finding this whole public meltdown fascinating. Give a not so bright guy millions of dollars for doing something very unimportant, let him get away with crime after crime, throw in alcohol and drugs, why wouldn’t the guy think he’s God!

His Father has been out there trying to get his Son to go get help. It’s virtually impossible to get someone to rehab if they don’t want to go...especially if they’re rich and famous. Actually, I believe Martin tried to get a court to give him control of his son’s money...but no go. Charlie Sheen is not at that point...yet.

That is what Muslims believe as well: it is OK to deceive a Christian or a Jew but not OK to deceive another Muslim.
In Judeo-Christian morality, we don't think that judgment of another in matters unrelated to economics depend on his income. How is being hit by a car hurt any less if you have millions in the bank?

Sorry if I did not make it clear in the previous post: I never suggested that one should have compassion to this guy. What I did object to is your finding him “entertaining.” That is much farther than lack of compassion.
Being on sets is long grueling work believe it or not. Again, his bosses get a lot more for doing very little. Same as ball players. If the team is going to reap that much dough the engines that drive it may as well reap too.
