He was GREAT (as usual)!
I haven’t seen any. I only caught that last minute or so this morning ;-(!
If anyone can find the video of this please post it.
LS? Who is that? Laz? If so, was he interviewed by a Fox infobabe?
http://www.freerepublic.com/~ls/ he was interviewed by Gretchen Carlson.
It was a good interview of current topics and — What would the founders think.
What was the topic?
I saw him. He did great!
The Founders views on various topics such as separation of church and state.
Larry Schweikart aka LS
excellent! got that one a while ago. great book.
quality people make FR one of the best sites on the net
Terrific! I’d like to see that interview.
LS’ knowledge of Americana is amazing. Agree, great book...better get it while you can (before the ban).
Isn't that the truth?! I've been very humbled on here as when I joined FR, I didn't have a clue about the 'caliber' of people on here. There are artists, authors, doctors, lawyers, entreprenuers, executives etc etc. It's awesome to be around these folks.
This interview was very informative.
Yep. LS and Glenn Beck have inspired me to research our history a lot more deeply than ever before.
Thanks for posting. I didn’t see it but HOORAY LS! Thanks for all of your work. I have Patriot’s Guide but am only about 1/20th through it and am taking notes as I go.
I did see him. He was fantastic.
No, but I did catch Liza.....
Seriously, regret I missed him.
And yes, I too am humbled by the awesome assemblage of great thinkers on FR. I learn something almost everyday; not from the articles themselves but rather the comments from FReepers.
I'm sorta poor, but I tell me wife that when I win the lottery I'm gonna give a big chunk of it to JimRob; he has provided a service with untold influence and big consequences; he has rolled back the dark tide of ignorance.
Years from now, when the story of our modern resurgent conservatism is told, FR will have it's own chapter.
Larry Schweikart, a former rock drummer who opened for "Steppenwolf," is a professor of history at the University of Dayton. In addition to some of the books mentioned here, he has authored over 50 academic articles, dozens of book reviews, and has been a regular guest on "Fox and Friends."
The looney Libs are tearing him apart:
“I’m sorta poor...”
No, you are not. You have a wonderful wife and a good heart. You are rich and wealthy beyond means. ((((hugs)))))
