Ever since “Profiles in Courage” was ghosted by Kennedy’s crony, politicians have been churning out self-stamped hagiographies with their faces on the cover and their names under the titles. But few if any of them are written (and I daresay NONE of them exclusively) by the subject. Obamateur is just the most egregious example. Here’s a guy who can’t write a grocery list without two coaches, a muslim spiritual adviser, and a teleprompter.
With a line like that I think you are on your way to a Pulitzer, or at least a syndicated column.
Kennedy wrote profiles in courage when he was recovering in the hospital from back surgery? I don’t see the comparison. Kennedy, I am sure, had the idea, wrote the basic premise and had others to help him. I see nothing wrong in that.
Obama, clearly did not write a thing of this. It basically is a biography written by someone else.
