Wisconsin Legislature Does Its Job, Keith Olbermann Goes Insane
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | RB

Posted on 03/11/2011 6:34:17 AM PST by Michael van der Galien

When the Wisconsin legislature finally did its job, Keith Olbermann slipped into a manic episode on his blog. Calling it “The Suicide of the Republican Party” he let loose with pompous hyperbole that would make the best propagandists blush. Let’s start from the beginning:

Still having never learned to be calm, retract their claws, and sit around and act rationally in a situation that calls for panic, Wisconsin’s Republicans and their Corporate Puppeteers tonight guaranteed themselves an unprecedented and disastrous recall next January.

What? Retract their claws and act rationally in a situation that calls for panic? What does that even mean? Anyway, Scott Walker JUST won the election this past November. Is he predicting that the people who voted him into office aren’t going to come back out for him? Walker can just run on this platform. I think it’s a winner. Let’s continue:

More over, they also guaranteed themselves that any cloak of stealth under which they have operated in their attacks on teachers, firefighters, policemen, unions, and the settled law of collective bargaining, has been stripped away. If you pass a supposedly urgent “budget repair” bill with key budget components cut from it, you forfeit the fiction that you are doing anything remedial, anything essential, anything except a naked power grab on behalf of corporations who will get the money stolen from organized labor – civic or private.

First, firefighters and policemen were exempted. Maybe that has changed, but I doubt it. Second, the attack is on teacher’s unions, not the teachers themselves. Even so, asking them to pay less than the national average for their pension and health care benefits in exchange for agreeing not to turn around a few years down the road and raid the treasury through collective bargaining isn’t an attack.

What the F does corporate anything do with government employees?
Please someone tell me someone why if a toilet overflows they call it due to evil corporations?

A corporation would other wise be known as private sector employees who pay salaries and make some kind of stuff. Makes it lots more valuable then government union employees.

Thank you Gov. Walker for breathing liberty and individualism into America.

It must be awful to live as a socialist where you are oppressed. It must be awful to live where you are only valued not as a creative individual; but a robot who will only do as told to do. It must be awful to live where only guilt and hate are taught. It must be awful to live where you speak nothing but bad things and lies about others each and every day. It must be awful to come together as a group full of deceit where stealing from and tricking people are the only things they can do. What a dark picture.

Give me freedom as an individual any day. That is America.

Liberal logic: That grand slam increased Braves the lead to 14-2 here in the 7th... that sure pissed off the Phils. Yes, the Braves are doomed now! Feel the fear!

Corporations will get the money that the tax payers won't pay towards union pensions? OK, I get it now.

The pertinent information from this story is that KO has been reduced to blogger status. Maybe he signed up to write for Arianna?

How’s that career progression thingy working Keith?

Don’t forget Harry Reid’s latest rants.

He wants to ban brothels in Nevada- which are probably the only part of the economy that is thriving & now he says that “ten’s of thousands of people’ will cease to be able to attend the Elko Cowboy Poetry event if some Federal funding is pulled.

Elko is about 30,000 in the entire area- inclucing Spring Creek in the Rubly Mountains. I am pretty darn sure that the annual attendance at the Cowboy Poetry days isn’t anywhere near “tens of thousands’.

Harry must have been one of the ‘counters’ for the events the Dems held on the Capitol Mall in the past few years. Maybe he also did the count for Calypso Louie’s Million Man March & got his expertise there.

Dirty Harry is getting senile & he is showing that off every day.

“The fact is that the event attracts between 6,000 and 8,000 people each year, according to Charlie Seemann, executive director of the Western Folklife Center, which sponsors it.”

http://www.factcheck.org/2011/03/reids-cowboy-poetry-puffery/

Reid can't help but lie. First, he's a Democrat. Second, he spun the bald-faced lies to get Obamacare pushed through. Third, anyone in power that spews the vomit of the AGW scam probably falls into a pattern of lying about nearly everything. Ex: Al Gore saying that it’s “several million degrees” 2 kilometers beneath the surface of the Earth.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMrxC-qEHb8

Reid probably can’t help himself after all these years of almost never telling the truth even accidentally.
