Little Boy Blue, come blow your horn,
A government agent is counting your corn,
Another a lecturing old mother Pig
On birth control, so shes dancing a jig.
Pas gone to town, to see whats what
About planting potatoes on the old meadow lot.
Mas at the radio, hearing em tell
How, under the New Deal, there aint no hell.
Aunt Mamie is in Washington, drawing big pay
Eating frankfurters, and pushing AAA.
A lecturing folks, on the old Townsend racket.
Grandpas gone out in his new leather jacket
Says hell never work, no, never more,
200 a month will bring pleasures galore.
The hired man quit; the work didnt please,
Got a better job, trimming government trees.
They tell you if you dont take care
Where you may live and what you may wear
And pay for your pants and your shoes,
Election is coming Wake up from your snooze.
Little Boy Blue may be buried deep
Under this red tape, but is not asleep.
Hell wake right up, and all else abandon
Till the budget is balanced, by Landon.
