My grandfather and grandmother (mom’s side of family) both came from Sweden. He (grandpa) was an overseer on a Swedish baronial estate and ma was one of the peasant girls on the estate. They fell in love and decided to come to America because the Swedish caste system disaproved of such unions and would not have allowed them to marry. Grandpa came to the USA first and then brought grandma over about a year later.

Neither spoke a word of English, but they learned very fast and became citizens and Americans. They never forgot their Swedish origins, but they considered themselves Americans. They raised one son and three daughters. Of course, these were the old days before multiculturalism and being a hyphenated-something was all the rage.

My mother had a desire to go back to the old country in the late 1980s. She and my father went over. Remaining relatives showed them the old estate my grandfather ran, his hometown, were grandma was born and, of course, Stockholm. Two weeks was enough them and I joined them for a 10-day holiday in the UK.

Dad and mom have passed away now and I have never had a desire to visit Sweden. I figure that it and several other European countries will join the new Euro-Muslim caliphate before I die. (Fortunately, the backward Americans are 25 years behind the progressive Swedish dhimmis.)

Don’t pat yourself on the back too hard for your superior standard of living. The Muslim masters of your new caliphate will bring Sweden back to a 7th or 8th century Islamic backwater soon enough.
