The Evil Rich vs. The People—Who’s (REALLY) Who in Hollywood?
Red White Blue News ^ | 3/18/2011 | Ann-Marie

I recently watched a video of actress Susan Sarandon being interviewed at the protest in Wisconsin. Susan bravely cheered for solidarity, decried plutocracy in America and she spoke out about those horrible, greedy people known as ‘The Wealthy.’

Of course, I naturally thought she was talking about HERSELF. After all, Susan Sarandon has been a famous movie star for many decades, and I was pretty sure she had accumulated quite a bit of money.

But no, apparently “The Wealthy” Sarandon spoke of was Wisconsin’s Governor Scott Walker (or as she called him, “idiot Walker”).

“It takes a lot of courage and conviction and solidarity to make this work,” Ms. Sarandon said, sporting a chic military-style jacket and hat. Very protest-y.

Being a Christian Conservative and obviously not as intelligent as someone like Susan Sarandon (aka “Janet” from “Rocky Horror Picture Show”), I was confused. Unless Sarandon recently lost all her movie star money, how can she pretend to be one of us regular people? Come to think of it, I had assumed all the movie stars, directors and politicians who constantly spout their anti-America/anti-capitalism venom were very, very rich.

Susan Sarandon? An okay actress. Her political tastes are somewhat conflicted. But she does fake the emotions and thoughts of others well.

That's a line from Firesign Theater, "Honest stories of working people as told by rich Hollywood stars!" Can't recall the album off hand, Don't Touch That Dwarf ... maybe ?

This is like the rich attacking the poor for being rich.

I LOVE her movies!!!!!

I HATE her “politics”.

In “REAL” life, she’s a moron.

I will attempt to contribute to her poverty...

Much as I love her movies, I will never watch another. Time better spent investigating naval lint.

My hatred and disgust for her politics inspire me to help her attain her vaunted communist reality...in my own small way.

Ever hopeful she will have to pay for her own facelift, next time. She will be too old to qualify under Obamacare...
Too OLD, Susan; sorry. Old hags should just die and get out of the way. (hey......YOU voted for it, right?)

Believe it or not, her mother is a die-hard Republican and even tried to ‘adopt” her granddaughter away from Sarandon because the mother knew she was insane. Initially tried to blame it on Tim Robbins. Then years later, it was found out that TR was giving money to right-wing GOP politicians which looked absurd because TR is a well-known liberal. So basically, it came down to the daughter being crazy on her own.

Just like Michael Moore, getting rich making movies about how rich people are so evil.

They must think we are all stupid. They are poverty pimps, making a fortune crying for how all the "poor people" are suffering and it's just not fair.

I love her acting as well but will continue to go way ‘out of my way’ to avoid contributing one cent to her personal ‘poverty’. I just won’t do it.

Ditto.

The worst of the bunch will always be Jane Fonda, aka Hanoi Jane, though. Susan has nothing better to do with her down time since she isn't working much these days. Let's hope she will not feel the need to travel to the enemy camps in the world to badmouth our country and our soldiers like Jane did.

“It’s a real conflict for me when I go to a concert and find out somebody in the audience is a Republican or fundamental Christian. It can cloud my enjoyment. I’d rather not know.” Linda Rondstadt: Net Worth, $115 million

I feel the same way. I will never enjoy hearing 'Blue Bayou' again. But really, I haven't heard anything by Rondstadt in decades.

The combined total “worth” of these 21 actors/producers, etc. comes to #$1,510,000 (or damned close to it). That is ONE BILLION, FIVE HUNDRED & 10 MILLION, DOLLARS.

I look at my paycheck and think, “Fuck you, I’m the working class” despite a heart attack and cardiac arrest and a shit load of other injuries and illnesses. I’ve worked all my life - I’m 66 now and still working two parttime jobs.

If there is any GREED in America, it is in the unappreciative, anti-American, ignorant and often marxist Left, many of whom came from the wealthy class themselves.

There are two Vietnam veterans: Oliver Stone, hard combat - which I respect; and Al Gore - 6 months as a company typist - shortened tour due to ? his father being a Senator? - however, I’ll give him credit for serving honorably.

Don’t think any others served in the military or Peace Corp (I’ll take corrections).

Three hardcore communists/marxists: Fonda - Hanoi Jane; Harry Belafonte, a protege of Stalinists Paul Robeson and Ossie Davis; Michael Moore (his highschool friends said he described himself as a marxist).

Communist dupes: Sean Penn; Oliver Stone. Susan Sarandon. Jesse Jackson - his top aide in Op. PUSH/Rainbow Coalition was a Soviet agent of influence, Jack O’Dell.

Opportunists; Jesse Jackson

Just plain weird: O’Donnell; Streisand;Paltrow; Crow; Ronstadt; Garofalo

Just plain stupid: Goldberg; Paltrow; Crow; Lange; Roberts; and big fat old Al Gore.

Just plain hateful and hate-filled: Maher; O’Donnell; Lange

Yep, this is the “cream of the crop” of the Hollywood Left, “spoiled, rotten, stinking cream” that look and sound and smell like curdled horseshit.

I remember Firesign Theater... they were great. I liked their Sherlock Holmes and the Giant Rat of Sumatra and a number of other albums. Very psychedelic whacked out stuff to trip on.

And this is correct, as the line is quoted at the very last of the Wikipedia article on the cited album. I also note that Google is all over FR, as I found my own comments within a few minutes of posting them, when searching searching for this corroboration, right at the top. I always wonder about that. I wonder if this post will come up number one in a search for GOOGLE ... hmmmmmmmmmmmm ?

You left out Danny Glover for the hateful hate-filled with America-hatred list. Don’t forget John F-ing Kerry; he served four hellish months in Vietnam AND Cambodia.

I’m a young whippersnapper of 62, newly forced to retire. Open heart surgery coming up this month. Served in South Vietnam while Fond’a Peters was servicing the North Vietnamese. Disliked Hollywood ever since. Watched these wealthy hypocrites grow rich on a system they profess to hate while vets go homeless.

Haven’t set foot in a movie theater since 1981. Haven’t missed it. A walk in the fresh air for the same amount of time does a body a lot more good. Laughing at these cinema simians taking themselves oh so seriously is even more healthy.

Why does everyone throw Gwyneth Paltrow in the bunch? I have never heard her say anything at all about anything. I mean she definitely came from a family that valued marriage....her Mom was married to her father until his death and it was the first for both of them. Gwyneth at least up to this point has stayed married to her first and only husband. Yes she did name her child Apple which is weird but that was really the only thing I can think of that is a bit strange. I have never heard an interview where she bashed America, or anything for that matter.

Oh my. That is not really bashing America. All the military say the same thing here in Italy. Life is simpler and the buildings are older. I think this is a huge stretch to call her anti-American. I also love the food here in Italy too.....I bet I would be in huge trouble if someone heard me say that.

You missed this...

“”I love the English lifestyle, it’s not as capitalistic as America. People don’t talk about work and money, they talk about interesting things at dinner,” Paltrow said in a 2006 interview with NS, the weekend magazine supplement of daily Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias. “I like living here because I don’t fit into the bad side of American psychology. The British are much more intelligent and civilized than the Americans.””

If that’s not bashing America I don’t know what is...The woman is trying her damnest to fit-in with the Fabians of today - same as the old crew. And I love the way they throw out the word ‘capitalist’ like it was a contamination. I grew up in Europe...most are decent people and then there are those who think the rest of us are intellectually inferior...they’re the kind that are into selective breeding.

With all the special effects they use, acting takes even less talent.
