Jeez, where on earth is Blazing Saddles? That one should top the hit parade. Or even Caddie Shack?

Tootsie?

For those of us who got over a man dressed as a woman during the Victorian era - there really isn’t much to that movie. Trying to remember a decent laugh anywhere in there. Was it even funny?

Sandy: I want you to kill every gophers on the golf course!
Carl Spackler: Correct me if I’m wrong Sandy, but if I kill all the golfers, they’re gonna lock me up and throw away the key...
Sandy: Not golfers, you great fool! Gophers! The *little* *brown*, *furry* *rodents* -!
Carl Spackler: We can do that; we don’t even have to have a reason. All right, let’s do the same thing, but with gophers -!

I viewed Tootsie as a sick movie that was anti-marriage and anti-father.

It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

ABC heard it had a Big Dubya in it and disqualified it.

Tootsie and Some Like It Hot!? I’d replace with Stripes, Vacation, Christmas Vacation, Annie Hall, Caddyshack, Midsummer Night Sex Comedy or 40 Year Old Virgin.

I dislike Tootsie intensely. Never saw what people saw in it.

The idea there isn’t even one Cary Grant movie on their makes it useless. And I hate Streisand, but “What’s Up Doc” needs to be on there. It’s worth it just to see Madeline Kahn get dragged out of the ballroom.

Dittoes.

That movie and Mrs Doubtfire and the TV show ‘Bosom Buddies’ all were tired reruns of the same tired theme.

Nowadays we have Big Momma movies. I think I just saw another sequel is at theaters now.

~yawn~

“Tootsie” was just “Big Momma” for whitebread Woody Allen type yuppie scum with pretensions of intellectualism.
