CHARLIE SHEEN bombs as angry audience boos him off the stage at the Detroit preem of his delusional tour.
With all 4700 seats filled with fans and the just plain curious, Charlie Sheen took to the stage at Detroit's Fox Theatre, to thundering applause.
But it didn't take long for the crowd to turn against their former hero, and boo him loudly.
Saturday was opening night for the former Two and a Half Men star's "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option" tour, RadarOnline.com reported.
Sheen's former porn star pal Kacey Jordan was reportedly in the audience. His new pal Snoop Dogg was a wise no-show.
After a warm up act comic was booed, a series of random film clips were shown on giant monitors.
Around 9 PM TigerBlood Time (TM), Charlie actually started the show, anointing his audience as the "Warlock States of Sheen."
But this crowd wasn't buying his tired shtick, and they booed him, demanding their money back.
"I already got your money!" Sheen responded snidely.
As he attempted to woo the angry Detoiters with a clip starring Johnny Depp, more mass displeasure ensued.
With a livid aud screaming they wanted their money back, Sheen's Folly was deep sixed by 10:15 PM.
In the parlance of show biz bible, Variety, Sheen laid an egg. Bombed. Did a floperoo. Stunk up the place.
FYI: Ticketmaster has a strict "No refund" policy on the Sheen Expressway... to your wallet.
good..maybe there is a light at the end of the looooong tunnel.
Anybody dumb enough to pay money to go see The Winner deserves what they get!
They paid to see him. How does that go again? A fool and his money...
He should have shown the crowd his hernia. Alex Jones has seen it and says it’s spectacular.
Real life doesn’t work like a scripted sitcom, as Charlie is figuring out.
And by tonight’s performance, “Charlie Sheen” doesn’t wow a live audience like “Charlie Waffles” did.
“You’re damn right.”
Winning? Or whining?
I hope they didn’t get their money back; they knew what they were getting a loon from the outset. They wanted a meltdown and that’s what they saw.
Charlie is gonna learn a hard lesson about credit card charge backs.
The audience had no problem spending the taxpayers’ dollars buying tickets.
Sounds like his manic phase is waning...
It`s kind of like watching a drunk make a fool of himself. It`s funny for a short time and then all of a sudden its not, it`s a sad spectacle.
Gee, what a shame........ROTFLMAO.
Just another way of Winning!
What else did they think would happen?
Some fool traveled there all the way from Toronto to see the show.
Sounds like the kind of crowd that was expecting to see the second coming of Bill Hicks, or somesuch.
“I already have your money” he told the booing crowd. I love Charlie Sheen. Go Charlie!
He would have done much better with actual material written for him. He just thought he could wing it and be good at it. He has no idea how much work being a comedian is. Most people figure this out on their first time doing standup, he got famous first, so its painful.
I’m not a fan of Palin... but I thought Charlie Sheen’s comments were low and I’m definitely in her camp on this one.
His fifteen minutes of fame are over.
Bye, Charlie - its been nice NOT knowin’ ya!
Is he a comedian or what?
How did Mr Tiger Blood figure that he had an act?
Is it just me or do I perceive that Charlie has earned an honored spot in the Obama administration? Head of DEA? Homeland Security? Joe Biden’s replacement? I dunno.
Natasha Sutton, 25, of Rochester, Mich., was also less than impressed. “I thought he was pretending he was crazy until tonight,” she told PEOPLE. “It was all crap. We’d rather lose money at the casino than come to another one of his shows.” And Dave Tholen, 45, of Rochester, Mich., echoed the sentiment, calling the evening a “variety show gone wrong.”
Two shows scheduled here in Columbus this month, a ton of losers will drive five hours round trip, can’t wait to hear the reviews ;-)
Did he get permission for that? Maybe Depp will end up with Charlie's money. lol
Gee, who saw this coming?
Sheen is a guy who inherited a famous name and fell into a gig that pays him a fortune to impersonate himself as a loser and wastrel. He mistook that for substance.
Just when I thought Charlie had to be the world's biggest loser, I find out he's actually got thousands of people who want to challenge him for the title.
May I be the first to ask, what the heck are you talking about? Was Palin in the audience?
4700 fools and their money are soon parted.
And it will all wind up in the hands of Charlie's Pimps and Drug Dealers.
Basically, people paid to see him in person. How pathetic is that?!
I'd bet $ the show doesn't even get there.
I agree, The reviews will sink it fast.
P.T. Barnum continues to be prescient.
Rough crowd. Try the veal!
Local news here was reporting that traffic from the event was ‘early’ LOL.
The audience had no problem spending the taxpayers dollars buying tickets.
I don’t understand.
from another source:
At times, as the unruly crowd just would not stop yelling out at him, Sheen seemed angry. “Too bad. I already got your money,” he snarled.
Finally, he simply ordered up some music and left the stage, never to come out again. The final offering was his new Winning video, featuring Snoop Dogg, not Sheen.
The house lights went up and most of the upset, angry and disappointed crowd left.
Boo-hoo ping. Charlie ship is taking on water.
Idiocracy on display.
Let me explain it to ya........so many Detroit area residents are welfare recipients...
There were probably more blacks at a Red Wings game, than at Charlie-a-polooza.
The TV show "2 and a half men" was one of the pathetically worst BS no-class, unfunny shows in the history of TV. But then again....nothing good is on TV. But that show was terrible.
........so many Detroit area residents are welfare recipients...
I know that. But I can’t see a bunch of people from the Hood going to see this idiot. What do they have, some kind of welfare card to pay for entertainment?
