You know, it cracks me up when the Dems say such things. I have Dem friends who believe them, too. I just turn to them and say...
Hey, don't you think that there are old Republicans, and that we have little children also and we want to feed them? Do you really think that we want to kill our mothers and fathers, and starve our grandchildren? You people just believe whatever crap Pelosi and Reid say and don't think beyond their ridiculous lies. The Republicans care just as much about their own families and friends as the Democrats do.
When I say that they are stopped in their tracks. They have no answer...they NEVER thought about it all the way through. They never thought that Republican politicians have relatives, or that other people like me, a Republican, have no intention of seeing our own children starved or killing our own elderly, some of whom are Republicans, of course. That is when they realize how stupid Pelosi and Reid are for trying such ridiculous scare tactics. This is what we all need to hammer in their heads and call out Reid and Pelosi on. No one ever challenges them on these statements...and it is so easy to do it...just give them a rebuttal that shows how idiotic their lie is.
Of course, to my Dem friends I also tell them that there are two who I would like to see gone or starved, and that is Reid and Pelosi. LOL

Their tactics are just plain stupid.
So many politicians need to take a few courses in Customer Service and how to listen to people who are upset and treat them with understanding and dignity. Truly, if Pelosi and Reid wanted to score points with the opposition they would stop badgering them and calling us names and treating us as we never count for anything. They would cater to some of our requests and demands, and they wouldn't alienate us as they do. Who wants to listen to or even vote for someone who is always badgering you?
