"The Donald"... A Potential Soros Stalking Horse?
FreeRepublic ^ | Tuesday, April 12, 2011 | Gargantua

The surprise generated by the throwing of Donald Trump's hat into the ring of 2012 presidential hopefuls is in part based upon his relative wealth, and professional and social status. He certainly needs no political clout to better command any situation he chooses, so that can't be his motivation.

In part it is based upon his own unchallenged political history, having donated to both Republicans and Democrats over the years. While his donations number fairly evenly between the two, he has been more generous with Democrats, who also seem better to mirror his personal lifestyle.

The heads that are scratched the most vigorously are those owned by the cognescenti aware of his past, and recent, associations wirth George Soros... a man many believe to be a major string-puller behind much of the Obama puppet Administration.

All of these facets are worthy of discussion and even disagreement. There are plenty of openly available resources for arguing both sides of any of the rationale raised above here. With one glaring exception:

If there is even the slightest scintilla of a chance that Trump could prove to be aught but another bit player in the myriad machiavellian orchestrations perpetrated by George Soros over the years, with the sole goal of manipulating the surrender of a soveriegn United States to his dream of a coming "New World Order," is there any reason at all to even consider voting for him?

The liklihood of The Donald agreeing to playing pawn in a Soros end-game could well go up exponentially if the lucre and position offered by Soros in return were significant enough, as Donald has never made any bones about his avarice or greed. Further, there is little Soros would likely be unwilling to sacrifice to see the U.S., the final and most difficult stumbling-block in his path to a One World solution, swept off of the playing board in a single coup-de-gras.

Again, despite that the evidence is almost all circumstantial and anecdotal, the only way taking such a risk on such a unknown quantity with such obvious opportunity for ulterior motives would be if there were no other possible candidate out there who would do a better job. No other contender on the horizon with a proven history of accomplishing remarkable successes in short timeframes against significant odds.

The fact is America has another such opportunity, with far more dependable conservaTIVE credentials, who has never donated one penny to a Liberal cause, or spent one evening rubbing shoulders with "Spooky Dude" Soros.

Given all the above, supporting Trump would be a fools errand, even if it didn't result in checkmate. Which it clearly could.

"In part it is based upon his own unchallenged political history, having donated to both Republicans and Democrats over the years."

So have most other rich political folks--Bill Gates, for one example.

Some such Soros dealing was revealed in the press just in the last couple days. That's what made me start wondering, and was eventually the impetus for this FRarticle.

I like that. You made me coin a new term. "FRarticle."

"I find it hard to believe that Trump will take a dive for Soros..."

Same here. Then again, coming out the back-end with a couple Billion $$ is hardly a dive, especially given Trump's slim-to-none chance of winning anyway.

If T succeeds in the supposed quest, it would be worth several times that to Spooky.

The more people tell me "Don't even bother looking over there!, the harder I squint.

If it ain't so, no harm done. We're just asking questions. Which, if more people had done in 2008, we wouldn't be headed over the cliff right now.

I know you support Trump, though God alone knows why. We have a bona-fide American Patriot Superstar Hero about to take O'Bunghole off at the knees, and Trump could monkey-wrench that.

I'll respect your wish not to "go there." You're obliged, under the American system, to reciprocate.

"Do we want someone ideologically sound or someone that can beat Obama?"

Both. The times call for both.

"The Republican field is weak."

Actually, it is some of the GOP voting bloc that suffers that description, not its strongest candidate in several generations. You make my point.

"The Left FEARS DONALD TRUMP!"

The left fears Palin. They laugh their a**es off at "The Hairdo."

" If he runs, he would have to be very sure he was winning. "

Unless, of course, Soros was funding his bid. It's exactly the type of back-deal play that Soros is quite well known for. Trump...?

" So have most other rich political folks--Bill Gates, for one example."

Gates has given away over fifty times the cash Trump ever will have, and Gates has expressed no sudden urge to be King. Your simile falls well short.

"2) Linda Lingle is best friends with Sarah Palin, therefore,
3) Sarah Palin knows the true skinny about Obama's BC."

And, Palin just came out two days ago with a resounding, "You GO, Donald!"

Interesting.

Could Gargantua be the screen name of George Soros on FreeRepublic? Could he (or she) be doing nothing other than sowing innuendo? Is there more to the link between Gargantua and George Soros than there first appears? Hmmm? Hmmmmmm????

See how easy that is? And that took, like, ten seconds.

"...was there a fact in your whole essay?"

Several. More importantly, however, is the fact revealed by your multiple, engaged responses to my FRarticle. I really hit a nerve with you. Do you feel, or fear, that Donald actually has a sub-rosa agenda that this level of scrutiny threatens? Methinks thou doth protest too much.

Could it be that the Donald works for the Trilateral Commission, the Secret Global Order of Free Masons AND the Knights Templar, and has the Da Vinci code microscopically tattooed on the inside of his left eyelid? Well yes, it could all be true - and more! His whole insidious plan is to replace the pyramid on the back of dollar bills with a picture of Trump Tower, and to get Ross Perot's image on the next round of dollar coins that no one will use and will only fit in the slot machines in his casinos. Well, that COULD be his plan - I'll let you decide. Or will I...???

"See how easy that is? And that took, like, ten seconds."

I hear how desperate it sounds. Truth be told, I'm not thinking of running for president. Trump is. Big difference.

What if, after all this Trump-generated enthusiasm, Obama comes out with a legitimate long form BC? Does Obama then take a big step forward as a vindicated, aggreived victim, now owed a second term by the racist, doubting public?

There are just too many ways this could play to the severe disadvantage of the Republic to bother chasing this insipid, pie-in-the-butt Trump rainbow. IMHO.

I'm pretty sure that the more the MSM tells us how The Donald is growing in popularity, the clearer it should be that, were this true, they would do anything but let on that it were so.

Does that sound insane? Does it sound more insane than the times we live in, or than the situation facing our great Nation?

Those questions deserve an honest answer, as our mutual honor, lives and fate hang desperately in the balance.

I am also thinking Mr. Trump and Blago, during last seasons show, had some heart to heart talks while drinking some old scotch whiskey.
Also, Blago is up for re-trial > and maybe looking for insurance???? (tin foil hat off)

I am just having fun, probably too much at your expense, but I mean just to have fun with the topic and the mayhem Trump is stirring up. Trump will be vetted like everyone else. He will draw the same hit squad that descended on Wasilla and then some.

Look, my nightmare is that Romney wins the nomination. Everything else is me sitting back and watch the rest jockey for position - yes, watching the circus. But I will confess to being pleased that Trump has the cajones to say what everyone else minces around.
