You have to dig out the bulbs to get rid of wild onions. We had them on the farm, and that was the only way to get them out of the garden areas.

You have to dig out the bulbs to get rid of wild onions.That's the only way I know. Seems like in this day and age there should be a "Round-Up" like herbicide that can do the job.
