Thanks for the heads-up!<p.My wife and I saw the film when it opened and she had to keep her eyes closed during the brutal lashing scene.

And this movie broke some box office records when it was in theaters, didn’t it?

There’s a huge untapped market for movies with religious or values themes.

But will mainstream Hollywood give us more like this? No, instead we have to have movies about casual sex, homosexual cowboys, lesbian headed families, and all the other trash we see from Hollywood. In Hollywood, making a political statement about homosexuality or global warming takes priority over making money.

Isn’t it interesting that when people talk about the magic of Hollywood, greatest movies ever, etc. they always talk about those made years ago? Years ago, there were actually attempts made to keep movies clean enough for the whole family, and focus on telling a story, not gratuitous sex and violence.

Thanks for the heads-up!

You're welcome. It's mere minutes away from starting as I post this. I just now found out that there will be a one hour special after the film called "Changed Lives: Miracles of the Passion". Here's the description:

After viewing the film entitled "The Passion of the Christ", people reveal the many events the film has inspired, including relationships being restored, atheists accepting Christ as Saviour, diseases healed and much more.
