Help! I went to sign in to my Hotmail account and I got a message that it was blocked because it was sending out spam emails. Then it asked from my mobile phone number to send me a code. I did that but no code sent. I tried other methods to unblock my hotmail via web research but each method requires me to sign in to MSN which is blocked to me.
Phone support is not available to me since I don't have a paid account. Okay, so how do I regain access to my blocked hotmail account without having to sign in since it won't permit me to do so?
Can’t you email them for support from a different email addy? I wouldn’t panic. Could just be a glitch.

That doesn't sound good. I'm no techie, but I would be very suspicious about giving my cell number to a message that promised to unblock access to a free email account.
Hope it's just a system glitch, and that you haven't inadvertently compromised your phone security.

You need to donate to the DNC and then Howard Dean will unlock your account. Upon re-logging in, turn up your speakers to hear the “Yeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!.”
If you've got internet access through a different computer, you could just look it up. Actually, you can probably do that from the computer you're on now.

Well, I did type in “hotmail.com” in the URL so it must have been them. Also many others have the same problem.

Dont give anyone any more personal info. Run virus scan and ad/malware detectors.
