Just cancelled my subscription with Rush

I was looking for the "vanity" thing but could not find it. I hope I did not do anything wrong for Fr to post in this section.

The first 3 words of Rush show today were for Sarah "Fight like a girl" - so I was very excited to hear what Rush had to say about that beautiful teaparty and Sarah speech in Madison Wisconsin. I think that was so important for the symbolism of it - unions and stuff - courageous of her to go there - and I also think that Sarah was great and her speech surely deserved a good 10 minutes from Rush.

Well..I waited and waited through a long hour of so annoying tax stuff, a good 15 minutes about Trump...sick of it really..and then an almost full hour about global warming..and then around 2.30 I emailed Rush show and said that I will revoke my subscription if I don't hear about Sarah's speech in Madison at least for 10 minutes before the end of the show. Well, I did not expect them to be scared..ah..

And then, nothing at all about Sarah in Madison.

So I cancelled. I am not sure where Rush is going but frankly I find him very boring lately. Excusing the pitiful Gop after they caved on budget. Bizarre. Is he becoming a RINO? Something's up with Rush.

Rush is being cautious for good reason. He opened mentioning her and mentioned she made a good speech.

What more do you want?

Not a good reason to quit him since he has given her so much time.

Sarah is still the best candidate out there, and that speech was so good even the left wing press was impressed.

I can’t believe that Rush ignored it.

I was also very troubled to see that he was giving Trump a big push. I thought he understood that Trump is a damned leftist. Yes, the birther stuff has been great. But no, Trump is NOT a viable candidate.

That woman is giving him no time for show prep like he used to have, so he is mailing it in.

It's not her fault. They all rely on Drudge to do their show prep and have become lazy. You can tell the content of most talk radio for the new day just by clicking on Drudge in the morning. Don and Roma are good for this in Chicago, though I'd just as soon listen to Don as Rush.

I think Rush skims Drudge, skims Free Republic and that is his show prep.
