Skip to comments.Did Obama really spend millions to hide his birth certificate?

I need links of stories about this issue. Or any proof. I haven't been confronted by anyone YET. But, I honestly can't remember actually reading about Obama spending loads of money trying to hide his birth certificate, from a reliable source.
I believe the millions number was misleading. He did spend millions in legal defense, but only a part was involved with the birth certificate.
Can you imagine being hired by a company, you've worked there 3 months and the HR gal walks into your office one day and says ' " Hi, MsLady, oh, we need a copy of your diploma from XYZ University for your file in HR" Your response is to stonewall her for 2 years? Of course, within 14 business days you'd be out the door carrying your personal effects.
This situation with Obama (sic) is ridiculous. Where is Congress?
No controlling legal authority - Must be nice.
Maybe this will help:
He’s still hiding it. The document thrown to the people yesterday sure looks fake to me. I don’t hold myself up as a documents expert, but I know 10 cents worth about Adobe, and I’m telling you that this looks like a clumsy fake.
Fishing for DU trolls this morning?
Any money he spends is probably ours.
I’ve asked for proof for months. So far, no one has been able to point to anything.
It does not matter whether the document released has fake information or not. What matters is that it is an abstract and simulation of an unseen real or a fake Certificate of Live Birth, rather than an unmanipulated image of an original document. In other words, even if there really is an accurate, true, and original Certificate of Live Birth, the digital file released yesterday fails to qualify as an unmanipulated and true copy of the original. Therefore, the public has no basis upon which to determine whether what was released is a reliable and true copy of a genuine and real record.
Someone tell me this....Is it not strange that Obamas mother is listed as Caucasian under RACE on the birth certificate shown, yet his father is listed as African?
Since when is African a race? I thought Africa was a continent....In 1961, it would seem that Negroid would have been listed as race for the father...
I have heard no one bring this question forward...
Perkins Coie doesn’t work for free.
Obama for America, in the quarter ending April 2010, disbursed $ 261,206.69 to Perkins Coie, a law firm that has represented Obama in multiple eligibility lawsuits.
He paid his campaign's law firm $2M (approximately) after the campaign was over, to handle various obligations arising from the campaign. This firm also filed appearances in all the various dismissed lawsuits about the eligibility issue.
It is very, VERY unlikely that is cost anything like $2M to fill out court papers for a dismissed lawsuit, even if there were many such suits. There were no briefs, no depositions, no hearings or motions (other than to dismiss).

“... it is an abstract and simulation of an unseen real or a fake Certificate of Live Birth, rather than an unmanipulated image of an original document.”
You are right, of course, but I can’t help recoiling at the idea that this arrogant man to whom we have entrusted our nation has such low regard for our intelligence that he would attempt to mollify the citizens with a worthless scrap of paper.
At first I thought it was true, but, after thinking about it for awhile I figured I’d better ask before I stick my foot in my mouth. I hate that foot and mouth diseases ;) And I didn’t want to eat crow, it taste so nasty.
So he still spent money on keeping it under wraps though? Am I reading your statement right? If so, why is the big question. Why would someone spend any money hiding a birth certificate?
Agree it is all very strange but, my guess is Obama wasn’t a good student and it would be interesting to know who paid for his education.
That’s also what I was finding when I would Bing about him spending millions. No solid proof that I could find. That’s why I asked. Figured maybe I just wasn’t looking in the right place or maybe something obscure.
You found one...look at the sign-up date.....this name has already appeared at other FR postings...an agenda is indicated.

Yes but, what was the money paid out for? Is there any specifics on what the money was used for?
I’m sure that as the media protective layers on this guy fall away, more will be revealed. . . . .
We have discussed it here on Frree Republic. The following is a copy of one my ealrier posts on this topic:
Not all Africans are negro as the term was used to indicate race in that time period. A 1971 era college course used a textbook on Black African History for Black American Studies which described the history of the Continent. It noted how North Africa and East Africa were principally populated by racial and ethnic groups which were not negroid in race or culture. Instead, they tended to be so-called Caucasian groups: Italic, Norman, Arabic, Semitic, and so forth. This textbook described the expansion of the Ibo tribes from the area of the Congo in Central Africa about 500-600 years ago when the development of genetic sickle cell anemia among the Ibo favored survival and rapid population expansion out of Central Africa and into the areas of East Africa and South Africa.
Africa is and always has been the home of a diverse range of so-called races. Descibing Obama as African in race is even less accurate than describing him as modern North American in race. The U.S. Census provides a typical example of how the terminology for race was in use in 1950 and 1960:
The 1950 census was the first to use the term race as the sole descriptor. Race appeared in the census for the first time in 1900 as part of the category color or raceterminology that continued through 1940. The 1950 census specified seven races: White, Negro, American Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, and Other race (spell out).
[ .] In 1960 the term race disappeared from the census and was replaced by Is this person - White, Negro, American Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Hawaiian, Part Hawaiian, Aleut, Eskimo, (etc.)? [ .]

Why would you need proof? Lawyers don’t work for free. Isn’t it obvious that it would be a lot?
Yes lawyers don’t work for free. But, what were these lawyers working on is the question.
“Did Obama really spend millions to hide his birth certificate?”
Who knows? Who cares? The main point is that he is hiding standard information which he should be happy to provide as a public servant acting in good faith.
What is also certain is that, like all Commiecrats, he receives reliable and constant propaganda cover from the QueerMedia which is not provided to Republicans, and certainly not to Conservatives. That alone should save him millions in potential legal fees.
Obama is the most powerful man in us, do you think he would leave any evidence behind?
Crow doesn’t bother me (as long as it’s fresh), but humble pie...? *shud-der!*
You are correct. The term Negro was used then to describe what are today called black.
Else ‘African’ could just as well be used to describe South African Whites. So it goes that ‘African’ does not connote a race.
How much they charged isn't known precisely. It is a known fact that they went there.
Humble pie is the worst. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth for a long time.
Is there any news articles with the facts. Like when the case was suppose to happen. What the case was for. I did see one letter from the law firm but, it just gave a case number in the letter and nothing about what the case was about.
