Beautiful Rose graphic, Teenie! Thank you! Blessed Sunday to you!
Thank you and I can enjoy it twice as much....guess no one will see the posts we made before we started here. Don’t guess it matters as I can’t even remember!!!
Wonderful graphic, Jaycee! Thank you!
Beautiful grapphic, Meg!! Enjoy your lunch and nap and will talk to you later!!
What a darling graphic!! Thank you very much!! Hope you have a great day!
I loved this post with the prayers offered to the folks whose lives have been torn apart and for those grieving over lost loved ones. I sometimes wonder how people get through those horrors, I guess through trust in God and many prayers.
I love May! It means winter is far behind us and lovely long summer days are right around the corner. Had I not been born on October 1st (a most *perfect* day to be born!), I would have picked May 1st as my second birthday choice.
Have a wonderful and blessed first Sunday in May!
Flooding is the biggest issue, they are saying it will top last May’s 100 year record flooding. Many areas still haven’t recovered from that one.
God bless my friends! God bless our America and our troops! |
Pippa Middleton is a lovely lady. Full stop.
Perhaps instead of 'pastel overload', it is a
Sure Sign That Spring Has Sprung!
(And I think it is beautiful, Lori!)
One day, three men were hiking and unexpectedly came upon a large raging, violent river. They needed to get to the other side, but had no idea ofhow to do so. The first man prayed to God, saying, "Please God, give methe strength to cross this river."
Poof! God gave him big arms and strong legs, and he was able to swim across the river in about two hours, after almost drowning a couple of times.
Seeing this, the second man prayed to God, saying, "Please God, give me the strength ..and the tools to cross this river."
Poof! God gave him a rowboat and he was able to row across the river in about an hour, after almost capsizing the boat a couple of times.
The third man had seen how this worked out for the other two, so he also prayed to God saying, "Please God, give me the strength and the tools...and the intelligence... to cross this river."
And poof! God turned him into a woman. She looked at the map, hiked upstream a couple of hundred yards, then walked across the bridge.
What a happy, sweet memory, DD!
I remember some of those long-ago days, too,
And, they always bring a smile to my heart.
Glad you liked it, Jaycee! You are right about all you said! I can’t imagine what they are thinking,or how they suddenly have to start over with everything. At least they are still alive to do it, ya know! Perhaps they may consider living somewhere else? I don’t know!
"Yet I tell you
that not even Solomon
in all his splendor
was dressed like one of these.
~Matthew 6:29~
How odd and fun to think we might have a choice of what month we’d like to have our birthday! My birthday is in January and I would change it from winter to spring or summer. Sometimes plans had to be cancelled because of bad weather! :)
Hope your having a Blessed Sunday!!
Beautiful!
