Rather elegant to quickly bury the body at sea - no one can gather, rally or build memorials. A bit of closure for some folks but terminating one person obviously does not significantly alter a true network. OBL has likely had little direct involvement with any plans for years. Interesting that though he refrained from phone and internet use, they got to him via a courier - everyone has to communicate, always a weak link.

I would have brought it back the New York, ground it up and run it through New York’s Sewage treatment plant. One flush at a time.
I don’t believe it. It’s a pleasant story that keeps anyone from harassing the US to get his body back, but they’re keeping him in a meatlocker somewhere. I bet he’s being autopsied at this very moment—a Navy doctor is sawing him open. At the very least, they’ll want to keep their evidence.
I’d go with the high road. Bin Laden’s corpse is an inanimate object that can no longer hurt anyone. We’ve done our bit to ensure that justice was done now it is up to God to punish bin Laden. Defiling bin Laden’s corpse won’t bring his victims back nor will it accomplish anything. A corpse cannot feel spit or urine. Even if it could, nothing we could do to bin Laden’s corpse could possibly compare to the torments of Hell that await his soul. That is why I believe in unequivocal respect for the dead, regardless of how evil the person was in life. To act otherwise, IMHO, is to act as though there is no Heaven and Hell. And that’s not the Christian way.

I don’t believe his body was taken to Boston. His sister’s DNA was there, but they don’t have to have his body there to do the match. DNA samples can be taken from his body anywhere, and the comparison can be done electronically.
Let's be clear about this sin and the predictable aftermath that is about to erupt: The Muzzies were going to scream and carry on no matter what, but why give them any legitimacy by claiming to handle the body in accordance with Islamic practices and then not doing it? A simple, "We killed him and positively identified him from DNA. His body will be buried in an undisclosed place to minimize reactions to his death and prevent shrines of any kind from being erected," would have done nicely.
I know this is a no win situation. After all, that assclown Charlie Rangel complained about Saddam's kids being killed when we sent those murderous scum Uday and Qusay to hell. Nevertheless, we shouldn't set ourselves up like that. Thanks, Obamao, for finding another way to screw the USA even in victory.
