“Fiber” is simply indigestible sugars. Doesn’t matter if it’s in a fresh plum or the trunk of a tree. The trick is YOU can’t digest it. Doesn’t mean it won’t go through ~ it will.
Celery.
Plant stems etc...
But there’s an agenda saying it’s wood pulp..
That's what I'm getting at - Bleu Cheese should not include wheat, and it certainly shouldn't include wheat unless it's boldly disclosed.
I part ways with some of my conservative brethren in this regard - I'm all for full product-disclosure and labeling laws, and too many Republicans who suckle at the teat of the big food lobby, fight against these laws. Transparency is good everywhere - good for the government and good for our food producers, IMHO.
I also think these labeling laws tend to help the little guys, and hurt the big food conglomerates. It's another kind of crony capitalism.
Depends on the brand. I buy ice cream that is...well... ice cream.
No one with Celiac, wheat intolerance, or just a wheat allergy is going to buy any of it!
Every household with such a person in it is not going to buy any of that stuff.
With 1/12 of the nation already unable to consumer the product, and each household having about 4 people, that leaves 1/4 of the total market UNREACHABLE by crumbled blue cheese marketeers.
Real smart ~ all they gotta' do is admit what they're putting in there is not just cellulose!
A cheese monger once told me that if you took the fillers out of the canned parmesan cheeses, the actual cheese costs about $35 a pound, hence making Parmesan Reggiano a great bargain. (Sale price at his store 12.99/lb - the middle of a just opened wedge is unbelievable)

There’s tons of low/non fat in my house. It’s called tap water, strawberries, apples, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, bone fish fillet, etc.
Mmmmmmmm.....sawdust......
Roughage (cellulose) is meant to be indigestible in the human digestive tract and serves as a ‘bolus’ when traveling through the digest system, giving the muscle waving motion of the stomach, intestines, etc. the needed resistance to cleanse or wipe and carry wastes out for excretion....That’s in a normal body.
If you are already to the point of constipation due to hard layering coated along the digestive tract because you eat glue like substance that your body doesn’t have time to deal with before the next (years of) glue like substance comes down the pike then the body will need assistance removing the built up layers.
Plain enemas are most effective but not the store bought fleet type but at least a quart of warm water and not a high colonic that has additives just plain warm water will give instant results and some relief. Hold it a short time while massaging it around before you evacuate.
Working from the other end, food intake has to be gentle but effect as you don’t want to cause a major unblocking all at once like prune juice might cause. A good helping of cooked green and leafy sauerkraut or spinach will do for starters (make it yourself or rinse the salt from the canned juice, frozen works). You can graduate to more effective and potent cleansing foods as you can tolerate because you’ll hardly be able to stay in the same room as your body cleans itself from the inside out.
When you can enjoy eating a handful of fresh sweet/ripe Bing cherries without feeling like you are going to explode, then you might consider yourself normal again.
Thank you for that unsolicited advertisement Razzz42 ~ uh, BTW, where did you get that name?
Ahh... When not eating, one must eat something or it gets really painful... sort of keep the leavening leverage, hopefuly well cooked without bubbles.... ok, I’ll back track right there...
I like Asparagus with Vinegrette. In Frankfurt, Germany, the Asparagus festival is a big thing... and so is their varied kinds of letuce, it’s delicious. They spend a lot on that stuff. Not that they can on bullets, I assume.
Yeah, you nailed it, there is an anti-Twinki agenda, and I read the book partialy.
Frankly I do not care if the food is mined from underground fossile oil and salts, or taken from wood, because pulp is pulp in the end, science tells us that.
What they want is a destruction of the technology and industry at large. It frightens them we can rely on ourselves... enemies in China and Russia just do not practice competition, they practice slavery, let us remember that, and that agenda is theirs. (shades of nasty glutens to dog food)
They want us to spend on green stuff instead of bullets and self renunciation, they want the body to control the mind and not the opposite, the mind feeding the body to calm itself on the mind. They hate our ability to tweak our urges. They want Zero in power so that Chrissy Matthewsies keep getting tingles up their legs.
Some radiation, now and then, is, indeed, better than slavery, and not just underground radiation, radiation as nuclear strikes. So long we do not get it, nothing will move forward. The sword must be developed and controled.
You were in the cross-hairs but not the target.
Online names are unique and that’s about all.
“The next time you’re in a better grocery store, pick yourself up a small wedge of real imported Parmigiano-Reggiano and compare it to the Kraft Parmesan you probably have in your refrigerator. You’ll be amazed.”
Why put Kraft in the fridge? It will keep darn near forever on the counter...don’t try THAT with your Euro-weenie cheese!
They regularly pull Kraft byproducts out of the dump to show how well it keeps. DECADES!!!!
Well then, as long as their stuff clears my body in less than a decade...
LOL
