Technically not in Las Vegas, but in the Metro area...I am not surprised. This area (Las Vegas Metro area) is just a moment away from anarchy at any given moment. I’d be absolutely shocked if there were even more “spontaneous” crime waves as it heats up. The Las Vegas area is virtualy unbearable without creature comforts in the summertime, and people are unemployed all over the place, whether the government hides the facts or not. Expect more of this type of behavior, and not just in Paradise, but all over the country.

I think it's going back down, probably to the 500,000 range.
$8/gallon gasoline and Las Vegas do not mix.
