How does the administration that pledged to change the way Washington works handle internal disagreements? Apparently, they make lawyers rich and tie up the courts. James Hansen,who runs NASA’s Goddard Institute, is currently backing a lawsuit against the administration for failing to address global warming — and is using teenagers to do it: By failing to take action against global warming, the federal government has violated its legal obligation to protect the atmosphere as a resource that belongs to everyone, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court last week.

Once again, even Hot Air needs to be reminded that James Hansen is not a NASA scientist. He doesn’t work at NASA. He is an adjunct professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Columbia University and involved in the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) in New York City, which is funded by NASA - even though NASA doesn’t like it and wants nothing to do with it. GISS once has a proud history related to space studies. Since being taken over by Hansen, it’s been used for nothing more than to promote Hansen and his global warming con. It is in fact now part of The Earth Institute at Columbia University, with George Soros and Bono on its board of advisors.
Hansen’s committed more fraud that Bernie Madoff.
But why sue the president, and not Congress? Hansen shows his whacko colors even more by the day! What solution does he ask for? Increased nuclear energy? Cover the desert of Nevada with PV cells? With some work to convert to AC power?
Genuinely nuts!
