So where have you bought and how?

How do you manage it? I somehow cannot wrap my mind around it.

Thanks

Why do you need a Post-Mortem, exactly?

“I think it is important. “
Obviously not or you would have been more descriptive about what you want instead of being esoteric.

Pay 1-2 $/oz over spot for generic rounds, and up to about 5$ over spot for American Eagles, not including key dates which are more than that. The premiums for 10 oz products is the same as for 1 oz, but 100 oz bars are a bit cheaper.

If you’re rich, you can buy silver (1000 oz) and gold (10 oz) directly from COMEX, at which you would pay spot exactly, and then a delivery fee. (These are the quantities for the the “mini” contracts - regular contracts are 5000 oz for silver and 100 oz for gold. But not so many people are ready to get their feet wet for the first time at that size.)

I'm surprised that anyone on this board would want to read PM, the left-leaning newspaper. To purchase a copy, one must first pass through a wormhole to the 1940's, since it ceased publication in 1948, and then visit a New York City news stand in the afternoon.

I have spent hours last night trying to figure this out.

I'll get back to you.

Now I've got to take the FW down to the SJ. Then I need some CF so I have to run in to NC.

Go to Kitco.com and click on the "Buy Gold" link near the top of the page. It will take you to the interface for purchasing gold and/or silver in Kitco's unallocated pool.

The disadvantages are going to be touted by those who insist that you do not own a precious metal unless you can hold it in your hand. In the case of Kitco, you CAN hold it in your hand if you order them to send it to you, though you will incur additional fees and shipping charges, bringing you net price/ounce in line with coin stores.

But, Kitco's been around a long time and has a solid reputation in the industry. And, if THEY are holding the metal, you're not (1) liable to theft, murder, and ransom of your loved ones for keeping multi-thousand dollar amounts of metal somewhere on your property, or (2) the significant storage costs related to warehousing your metal in some off-home-site location.

Advantages: cost. Kitco's premium for purchase and discount for sale are the absolute lowest you'll find anywhere.

If you're looking for some place to stash your diminishing American dollars so that they do not lose their purchasing power, you can't do any better than Kitco.

Look most people can only afford enough Metals to put in a sock, they dont need to warehouse anything. If you had to warehouse your metals than you can afford the security. Idiots would let other people know they have anything of value in the house.
