There are several issues here ~ one is very current. Let's say the Governor was elected President. Then he makes appointments. Are they going to be men of substance and understanding who are also "well wrapped", or does he have some nutball buddies out there lurking around.

The fellow who appointed the judge who wrote the decision is Mitch Daniels.

Any of his supporters probably hope he doesn't have any more guys like this in his entourage ~ now he'll have to prove it.

I suspect the Ron Paul contingent jumped on this like a tick on a coon dog! Could even be some Mitbots out there as well doing a little "seminar posting".

So, a choice, a guy who IS, HIMSELF, a nutball, or a guy who has nothing but nutballs in his entourage, or another politician who has appointed a nutball to the position of Chief Justice of a state Supreme Court.

We probably need more choices eh!
