The points you made about what Mormons believe about Jews, Christians ALSO believe about Jews, but that doesn’t make me hate Christians or Christianity either.

Funny, I never considered Jews to be gentiles.

In my life, I must have heard a zillion times how damned I am.

Well, you are in the same boat with others who reject Jesus - his words, not mine. Paul (formerly Saul) explained that he would rather lose his life if it allowed his race - the Jews, to know Jesus. However, my view is that as the nation of Israel you are the apple of G-d's eye and woe to anyone who threatens it (bad news for the USA under 0bama).

It bothers me those who claim to know what the devil thinks.

How then did you gain your knowledge of evil mesta? Why did G-d have the scriptures written including the origin of evil (satan) and his actions if not to teach us to be wary of them.

Hate is evil. And I see it on this thread.

That is a manifestation of it, but your definition of 'hate' is skewed. I warn of mormon doctrine coloring Beck's Restoring Courage - you welcome his mormon based rally with open arms. Is the warning to open your eyes to make sure you know what you are embracing now 'hate'? I find that thinking and 'labeling' rather nonproductive and an excuse for ignoring the issue.

...in hopes you will swallow your pride and reject your own bigotry, Christian though it may be.

What bigotry might that be? How is calling Glenn out as a phony know it all bigotry? Do you have any idea what you are really talking about? I see you are not any sort of sick freak. You have absolutely no specific instances from Glenn's own mouth to back your claims. Then you come back with this non sequitur. Try reading your previous posts. You continually question me and in the next post when I shut you down with specifics, you move somewhere else. Is the tinfoil hat getting too tight today?

Yep. Btw. I am also a she, not a he. FWIW. Freeper Jeff Head, who everybody on FR loves and respects, is a devout Mormon. He is a superb man, a VERY good man with a wonderful and loving family. His faith in G-d and his strong family values have just brought him through a HUGE crisis. ALL of us prayed very hard for him. NO one said “Hey, Jeff, you are a Mormon so we can’t pray for you. Just die.”
This stuff is just pathetic.

So then what am I to make of the Baptists who claim that Jerusalem must be in the hands of the Jews at the End of Days but seek to convert us away from Judaism? Isn’t that a paradox?
No Jews equals no Messiah. ‘splain me dis.
Yet, I do not hate Baptists. I do not fear manmade beliefs.
As for evil, it is apparent. I, ME, my child, you, your children, are ALL G-d’s own creation. Without G-d, NOTHING exists, including evil. That is why we have the rulebook. THOU SHALT NOT....
The adversary did not test man of his own accord. G-d instructed him to do so...or so all the scripture quoted to me on this thread has so stated. In point of fact, G-d singled out Job for testing. Picked him by name. Now why would G-d do that?

Paradox - no, it is an interpretation that states that not all Jews become converted before that day. G-ds promises were to the people, not necessarly to the religion. As such, those unconverted Jews will be present for that final act of national salvation.

No Jews equals no Messiah. ‘splain me dis.

Messiah has come - his name is Yeshua (Jesus). Becoming a Christian does not change one's genetics.

Yet, I do not hate Baptists. I do not fear manmade beliefs.

Yet you set out doctrinal differences - no different than what I've done, so why is mine 'hate' and yours isn't?

As for evil, it is apparent.

Is it in every case - nope, it can disguise itself as good to suit its purposes.

The adversary did not test man of his own accord. G-d instructed him to do so...or so all the scripture quoted to me on this thread has so stated. In point of fact, G-d singled out Job for testing. Picked him by name. Now why would G-d do that?

An instructive example for our lives. G-d did not 'instruct' satan to do so, G-d permitted satan to do what satan wanted to do - there is a difference. As for additional reasons of why G-d would do that - you said you've written many papers on the subject. Job was not an ordinary man. He was an extremely righteous man so all of us could see that it was not Job's personal goodness that formed the basis for his relationship with G-d. If Job suffered being righteous, righteousness must not preclude suffering or guarantee G-d's protection. So one can serve G-d if inspite of bleak circumstances - as Job goes to show he can still believe in G-d inspite of it.

You really have trouble with logical progression, don't you?

A clip of Beck prattling about mormon doctrine does zero to validate your “list.” And having to reach back to August of last year for it makes your “all of his interpretations” comment fairly preposterous, also.

I don't deny he believes in mormonism. He's a mormon! But you act like he's trying to proselytize on the sly rather than refrain from provoking orthodox Christians. And in so doing, you're making a fool of yourself.

If he casts out satan by beelzebub, then by whom do your children cast him out?

You have trouble facing the facts when you discover that your beck was and is doing exactly what you claimed he wasn't doing. Who does beck openly acknowledge as the basis for most of his political views - mormon Cleon Skousen - cooincidence - I think not.

I don't deny he believes in mormonism. He's a mormon! But you act like he's trying to proselytize on the sly rather than refrain from provoking orthodox Christians. And in so doing, you're making a fool of yourself.

Mormons have a campaign called "every mormon a missionary" - not familiar with it? Beck infuses mormonism in much of his presentation, evident from his word usage to citations from mormon scriptures to trying to show PUBLICALLY the book of mormon teaching that the amerindians descended from a group of hebrews who came here about 500 BC.

If he casts out satan by beelzebub, then by whom do your children cast him out?

I have yet to see him cast out any demons.

The only question that remains is do you have the intellectual integrity to admit your fault.

You're good;

You are good!

You are REALLY good!

Wow. Talk about cognitive dissonance!

You have literally traded positions with me in your own mind.

What specifics am I supposed to quote from Glenn to prove the negative of your subjective evaluation?

“Shut me down?” “Move somewhere else?” You’re delusional. I just told you I was sticking to the “subjective” issue so you couldn’t weasel out of it. Apparently you don’t mind going down with the ship if you can yammer to yourself about your “victory.”

Finally, how inane is it to conclude I don’t follow the radio program just because I don’t snap at your rather silly “bait?”

I’ve been an extreme member since day one, so I KNOW you’re talking out your hat. I’ve been listening for eleventy billion years.

I’ve wasted enough time on you. Unless you have a mea culpa over “he thinks he knows everything” being subjective, or a quote where he claims to know everything, don’t expect another reply.

And those painting him in a negative light because he’s Mormon, are reaching.

I just HATE it when folks REACH!!

Joseph Smith continues: "for the teachers of religion of the different sects understood the same passages of scripture so differently as to destroy all confidence in settling the question by an appeal to the Bible" (from 1:12). "What is it that inspires professors of Christianity generally with a hope of salvation? It is that smooth, sophisticated influence of the devil, by which he deceives the whole world" (, p.270).

Questions put to Joseph Smith: "'Do you believe the Bible?' [Smith:]'If we do, we are the only people under heaven that does, for there are none of the religious sects of the day that do'. When asked 'Will everybody be damned, but Mormons'? [Smith replied] 'Yes, and a great portion of them, unless they repent, and work righteousness." (, p. 119).

Brigham Young stated this repeatedly: "When the light came to me I saw that all the so-called Christian world was grovelling in darkness" ( 5:73); "The Christian world, so-called, are heathens as to the knowledge of the salvation of God" ( 8:171); "With a regard to true theology, a more ignorant people never lived than the present so-called Christian world" ( 8:199); "And who is there that acknowledges [God's] hand? ...You may wander east, west, north, and south, and you cannot find it in any church or government on the earth, except the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" (, vol. 6, p.24); "Should you ask why we differ from other Christians, as they are called, it is simply because they are not Christians as the New Testament defines Christianity" ( 10:230).

Orson Pratt proclaimed: "Both Catholics and Protestants are nothing less than the 'whore of Babylon' whom the Lord denounces by the mouth of John the Revelator as having corrupted all the earth by their fornications and wickedness. Any person who shall be so corrupt as to receive a holy ordinance of the Gospel from the ministers of any of these apostate churches will be sent down to hell with them, unless they repent" (, p. 255).

Pratt also said: "This great apostasy commenced about the close of the first century of the Christian era, and it has been waxing worse and worse from then until now" (, vol.18, p.44) and: "But as there has been no Christian Church on the earth for a great many centuries past, until the present century, the people have lost sight of the pattern that God has given according to which the Christian Church should be established, and they have denominated a great variety of people Christian Churches, because they profess to be ...But there has been a long apostasy, during which the nations have been cursed with apostate churches in great abundance" (, 18:172).

President John Taylor stated: "Christianity...is a perfect pack of nonsense...the devil could not invent a better engine to spread his work than the Christianity of the nineteenth century." (, vol. 6, p.167); "Where shall we look for the true order or authority of God? It cannot be found in any nation of Christendom." (, 10:127).
James Talmage said: "A self-suggesting interpretation of history indicates that there has been a great departure from the way of salvation as laid down by the Savior, a universal apostasy from the Church of Christ". (, p.182).

President Joseph Fielding Smith said: "Doctrines were corrupted, authority lost, and a false order of religion took the place of the gospel of Jesus Christ, just as it had been the case in former dispensations, and the people were left in spiritual darkness." (, p.266). "For hundreds of years the world was wrapped in a veil of spiritual darkness, until there was not one fundamental truth belonging to the place of salvation ...Joseph Smith declared that in the year 1820 the Lord revealed to him that all the 'Christian' churches were in error, teaching for commandments the doctrines of men" (, vol. 3, p.282).

More recent statements by apostle Bruce McConkie are also very clear: "Apostasy was universal...And this darkness still prevails except among those who have come to a knowledge of the restored gospel" (, vol 3, p.265); "Thus the signs of the times include the prevailing apostate darkness in the sects of Christendom and in the religious world in general" (The Millennial Messiah, p.403); "a perverted Christianity holds sway among the so-called Christians of apostate Christendom" (, p.132); "virtually all the millions of apostate Christendom have abased themselves before the mythical throne of a mythical Christ whom they vainly suppose to be a spirit essence who is incorporeal uncreated, immaterial and three-in-one with the Father and Holy Spirit" (, p.269); "Gnosticism is one of the great pagan philosophies which antedated Christ and the Christian Era and which was later commingled with pure Christianity to form the apostate religion that has prevailed in the world since the early days of that era." (, p.316).

President George Q. Cannon said: "After the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized, there were only two churches upon the earth. They were known respectively as the Church of the Lamb of God and Babylon. The various organizations which are called churches throughout Christendom, though differing in their creeds and organizations, have one common origin. They all belong to Babylon" (Gospel Truth, p.324).

President Wilford Woodruff stated: "the Gospel of modern Christendom shuts up the Lord, and stops all communication with Him. I want nothing to do with such a Gospel, I would rather prefer the Gospel of the dark ages, so called" (, vol. 2, p.196).

Sorry, I don’t see your connection with what you’ve posted, to anything Beck has said or talked about.

Being a non-denominational Christian myself, I only see another human being, who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, and who also believes that through HIM we are saved. I see a man, who is trying to get the word out to as many as will listen, that we need to get OURSELVES right with God. I see a man, who is trying to do what he can, with what he has been blessed/given in this life, to reach as many people as possible, to educate, make aware, open our eyes, awaken, etc, about this country, other countries, our government, other governments, corruption, evil, etc. and how they are all tied together and coming to a fruition of something really big. None of us know what is coming for sure, but I do know the Bible speaks of the things Glenn has been WARNING people about for years.

You can trash Beck all you want, I don’t care. Personally, I don’t care that he’s a Mormon. I do care that he believes in God, and that I have learned alot about our country, history and what is happening today, that I otherwise would not have. He has made a lot of people aware, enough, so that like me, I would hope they’d open their eyes, and search for themselves.

I do not see Beck as a preacher. I do not see Beck as someone telling you you must abide by HIS way. I do not even see Beck as someone preaching Mormonism. I’ll admit, there are times when his monologues go on and on and seem a bit preachy. And sometimes he does seem a bit egotistical. But who wouldn’t in his position? Rush Limbaugh is egotistical, but do people bash him because of his religion? I don’t even know what religion he is. I don’t care, because I value his opinion. Same thing with Beck.

So, speak your hate elsewhere. Thank you.
