Tardigrades: Water bears in space (photo at link)

In 2007, a little known creature called a tardigrade became the first animal to survive exposure to space.

It prevailed over sub-zero temperatures, unrelenting solar winds and an oxygen-deprived space vacuum.

On Monday, this microscopic cosmonaut has once again hitched a ride into space on the Nasa shuttle Endeavour.

Its mission: to help scientists understand more about how this so-called "hardiest animal on Earth" can survive for short periods off it.

Tardigrades join other microscopic organisms selected to be part of a project into extreme survival. Shuttle Endeavour Endeavour climbs into the sky on Monday

Project Biokis is sponsored by the Italian Space Agency and will investigate the impact of short-duration spaceflight on a number of microscopic organisms.

The project will use seven experiments to investigate how spaceflight affects organisms on a molecular level.

Per the RuneScape Wiki:

“The Honey badger is a level 32 Summoning familiar. It is summoned by using a honey badger pouch, which will give you 1.6 Summoning experience. The components are: 1 empty pouch, 84 spirit shards, 1 crimson charm, and 1 honeycomb. When used the pouch grants Strength experience.

“This familiar has an ability called Insane Ferocity, which gives the badger a chance of attacking twice in quick succession. It shares this ability with the spirit dagannoth.”

I’m thinkin’ the honey badger’s gonna kick some water bear butt...

Water bear is everywhere.
Badder than a Honey Badger he don't give a s***
Water bear is everywhere.
In his itty bitty space suit he can't be beat.
Water Bear is everywhere.
Probably even on you and he don't care.

LOL! ROFL! *coughing from laughing*

Yes, that was the spontaneous ditty in my head! Ironically, by coincidence...the same words you spelled with asterisks were the very same words audibly bleeped out in my head as the ditty ran through it. What a coincidence.
And thanks for posting the pic of this bad boy - I keep meaning to learn how.

ROFL *cough* LOL! *cough cough* Too much laughing.

This, I can tell you, is verse two of the ditty that was running through my head! (LAZ captured verse one) And once again - asterisks in the written lyrics match up perfectly with the audible bleeps in my head as the ditty ran through it!

Find the “http://www. blah blah blah” of your jpeg image.

Copy it.

Write in “img src =” and then paste the URL of your jpeg image.

Put < and > around it.

Well do your first one! It becomes addicting. Sometimes a pic will be ALL you post to a thread - and it will be the best post of the thread! ;)
