Lou Dobbs is Such A Bozo
May 23, 2011 | ML/NJ

Posted on 05/23/2011 1:05:44 PM PDT by ml/nj

The NYC radio scene is pretty grim between 3PM when Rush goes off and 4PM when Malzberg comes on. Since I find Hannity intolerable, I switch to WOR where Malzberg will appear and have to put up with an hour of this airhead Dobbs.

I have to say that most of the time I agree with Dobbs, just as most of the time I have agreed with Hannity. But these people disqualify themselves by opening their mouths and explaining their line of reason.

Today Lou Dobbs said several times that Benjamin Netanyahu is ignorant. He said this because he thinks Natanyahu was disrespectful of Bamie, and this is beyond the pale apparently. Nothing about Obama being disrespectful of a guest coming to visit him the NEXT F*****G DAY, essentially telling him that he would have to eat s**t or die in a very public speech. This stuff cuts both ways. But even if Dobbs doesn't care and he thinks Netanyahu is wrong, that's all he would be. It hardly makes him ignorant.

And then to a caller he was berating, he essentially implied that Israel contributes NOTHING to the partnership with the United States. He's having a hard time dealing with Herman Cain now who is essentially saying the same things I'm saying here. I guess he understands that if he berated Herman Cain, that he might wind up looking like the Bozo he really is. The poor woman caller might have mentioned that Dobbs' cell phone probably wouldn't exist if it weren't for work being done in Israel. Half of the improvements mad to our weapons systems seem to come from Israel. Scientific advances, medical advances. Proportionally to the size of our population, we should be ashamed.

And WOR needs to find someone else to fill the three o'clock hour.

I can take Dobb’s only in short bursts.

Nothing more than 7-8 minutes.

I like’m then I don't....

Herman Cain didn't even know what the "right of return" issue is about.

I didn't hear that being discussed.

I really don't know much about Cain. Maybe he doesn't know much about the "right of return." My impression from what I did hear today is that when he does know about it, his judgment about it will be correct.

Mostly I listen to Rush, Beck, which many on here are iffy about, Levin, who I don’t mind anymore, Rusty Humphries or Michael Savage, because I get him live and Levin is repeated later at night on same station.

IMHO...

Dobbs is an idiot.

Netanyahu is a leader of a nation, as nobama is. Neither has to bow to the other in any way.

Our commie in chief is simply trying to browbeat the Israelis into giving up on their nation and leaving without a fight. Easiest way to win a war: have the other side just surrender out of fear when all their allies abandon them.

So the media browbeats, browbeats, browbeats.

Most News Media = GRANDCHILDREN OF OLD EUROPEAN COMMUNISTS - BOLSHEVIKS.

They equate Republicans with the Tsar.

Trouble is, we had a revolution in this country that was righteous. The old bolsheviks did not read history and they don’t realize that there is no evil rich Republican guy who secretly controls the world like the Wizard of Oz. The bolshevik grandchildren, like their forebearers, simply want to assume power, i.e., take over the Tsar’s job. They think they can be a better Tsar. But the Tsar was the legitimate head of state of Russia. Now, if when they killed him and took over, if they truly provided freedom for the masses, that would be one thing. But the ruling party merely became a Tsar with different clothes, treating the masses far worse than he ever did.

So NYC bolshevik grandchildren and the left-wingers all over the world are on a never-ending pursuit of a world where their naively-flawed theories somehow magically work, so they can make everything “fair” and then earn the right for themselves to stay in power forever.

Lou Dobbs is simply part of the idiotic American political machine which thinks that it is somehow vital to preserving an American myth which is necessary to preserve America. They don’t realize - American is not about a myth. We don’t need one single talking head to preserve our national sovereignty. We don’t need Lou Dobbs inane babbling to “figure things out for us”. What we need the “free press” to do is investigative reporting, which provides citizens with information; cold, hard facts about all the myriad ways our government officials are committing criminal or Treasonous acts. Lou would make a better gameshow host, where his pursuit of advertising dollars and showmanship would not be masquerading as reporting or political commentary.

Ironically, he lost my interest when Alan Colmes left. He seemed to handle Colmes pretty well and it was always entertaining to watch the two of them duke it out.

Yup, on that we agree. Cain's instincts are probably pretty good. Once he understands the issue I'd imagine he'd come to the right conclusion.

I can only assume that he doesn't believe in a Jewish right of return to Jordan or Biblical geography.

Look. I'm Jewish (more than most, too) and even I don't believe in some Biblical right of return. That's just not the way the world works. But virtually no one was living in the "Holy Land" according to Mark Twain's apolitical account. Jews ("Zionists") came along and decided to by up the land their from the Turks who were absentee owners there, and thought they were taking the Jews to the cleaners. These Jews continued to buy land when Britain took over; and they still try now that Israel is in charge. The Arabs who didn't sell or abandon their land are still there, except in cases of eminent domain takings which all governments engage in. The idea that anyone should give up what they purchased legal title to some goat herder who thinks his great-grandparents lived there sometime is counter to almost all property laws everywhere.

Not uncommon here but I think the “Ted Baxter” label can be applied to Obama just as well in the sense that he is capable of reading a script in a deep voice but besides that just an inept clown.

But O’Reilly fits the description too.

Koch spoke out against Obama. Said he wouldn’t vote for Obama because he doesn’t trust Obama’s guarantee to defend Israel.

Actually, Koch said he wouldn't vote for Obama, unless Obama changes his position. I was disappointed that Malzberg didn't ask Koch what what cause him to trust any such statement from Obama.

And what would Dobbs and all the other cry-babies say if Benjamin Netanyahu had told Barry to revert back to the old Mexico border to solve America’s border issues.

A FReeper on another thread asked, ‘Can Netanyahu get a Hawaiian birth certificate and run for pres?’ Which I thought very funny.

Maybe. But what if the Arapaho Indians wanted to claim Denver?

My guess is Obozo would have spent a few seconds pretending he has a brain and would agree.
