Each week the woman asks the same question about the baby with the squishy cheeks and feathery blond hair.
Witterick smiles, opens her arms wide, comments on the sunny spring day, and keeps walking.
She’s used to it. The neighbours know Witterick and her husband, David Stocker, are raising a genderless baby. But they don’t pretend to understand it.

Idiots. They can’t raise a gender-neutral baby if they know the gender. It’s how the parents (or primary caregivers) treat the baby knowing its gender that would have the most effect on the child’s behavior, not how a neighbor treats the child.
There’s an old child development study were people observed babies (I think probably about 10-12 mos old) who were wearing only a diaper (and no hair ribbons or gender specific hair styles). The researchers expected that the observers wouldn’t be able to tell the gender of the babies at a level greater than chance. However, the observers did remarkably well at correctly determining each child’s gender.

The parents are morons.
Children are little individual human beings, not science experiments created to satisfy some warped desire the parents have to show how liberal and modern they are. This is abusive in the extreme. It’s hard to imagine how any of these children will grow up, but especially the one who is being denied the most basic identity.
These people should be investgigated in my opinion. You notice that they talk in the article about getting their children to keep secrets. And of course that they simply want their children to explore their gender feelings and experiment. How far does there openness and exploration go with their kids?
I remember reading a new age book once that had to do with some left-wing professors theories dealing with inhibitions and how people are capable of things that they dont know. I had bought the book though mostly because it had alot of information about the heart being able to store it’s own memories. Anyway at one point in the book this sicko leftist started saying that he felt parents should explore sexuality with their children or something to that effect. These people seem that type to me.
I also notice that in the article it talks about radical leftists that they have visited in Cuba and in Mexico to learn about revolution.
These are some really sick people. I feel sorry for their children.

I had some hippie friends who tried this to a certain degree, although they didn’t go to this extreme since even they knew it would screw up their kids.
Their first two kids were girls and they raised them to be gender neutral. It seemed to work because they played with the non-violent, non-competitive toys they bought.
Their third child was a boy. He got the same non-violent, non-competitive toys. Dolls were used as guns and wooden blocks became tanks. His first words were, “bang, bang!”
They learned pretty quickly that nature has a strong hand in how boys and girls act.
Having been the mother, grandmother, aunt, and babysitter of many boys, I can tell you that boys learn the basics about their gender before they learn to crawl.
They are all very happy to discover the premiere sign, as well. ;-D
The baby knows exactly what he is. Eventually He’s going to let his parents know all about it.
These people are lying though with their claim to be raising gender neutral children. If you notice in the article the kid calls himself the ‘gender explorer’ and there are references that they are being coached to act this way.
Neutral would imply that the kids are choosing but it is obvious that the parents are manipulating them with this agenda.
Sheesh! Even animals impose laws and values
on their offspring. Gender happens. Ignoring
it is child abuse.
