OAKLAND, Calif. -- As crestfallen followers of a California preacher who foresaw the world's end strained to find meaning in their lives, Harold Camping revised his apocalyptic prophecy Monday, saying he was off by five months because the Earth actually will be obliterated on Oct. 21.

Apparently the Lord is having zoning issues and being delayed by Watershed studies?
The man knows no shame.

Al Gore and Ted Danson have been wrong about the end of the world, so this guy gets a little leeway....
Just for the record, and I posted this once before on here. Back in 1994 when Harold Camping first predicted this I came to the true saving knowledge of Christ on his radio show, was a Catholic (non church going) at the time and believed good people went to heaven, boy was I shocked to learn the truth. So, for what it is worth, I came to Christ through his radio show, though I hadn’t heard of him in over a decade and was suprised he made another prediction.
I checked my calculations and forgot to carry the decimal point.
But lot's of money!
Oh! At first I thought he was full of crap. Now I see he was simply off by a few months. That explains everything.
Postponed? I thought it started in November 2010 when BS got elected. We are just feeling the pains now. I’m praying for a miracle in November of 2012. Remember it took having Carter as Pres to get Reagan elected.
“the rapture” is one of the most weak points of dogma based on the bible that there is.
LaHaye and Camping both missed it. They are so enamored of their rightuousness that they believe they will be taken up in the end times. They are wrong.
Camping was correct about the day. He said so in a confused attempt to clarify the 21 as a spiritual event. the dirty little secret is that as few as 19 were gathered up - several drunks, a few hermits and about a dozen babies. The rest of us are stuck here for eternity, forced to listen to the blather of holy rollers convinced they understand the Will of God.
He said this Saturday GOD JUDGED ALL and OCT 21 is the end of the world. So he contradicts the rapture that only certain religion sects/cults believe in. So he contradicted himself and his religion.
Everyone I speak with agrees we are in the end times so why can’t this man just say this and not give a date?
You need to broaden your group of friends.
And I thought I’d been left behind on purpose. Not that it came as any surprise...
As sure as the buds on the trees tells you spring is here the wise will know.
