No Rapture - 'That was Awkward' ... Billboard
Remember all those 'The World is Ending' billboards? Well - in Greensboro, North Carolina there's a new billboard. It can be seen near Interstate 40 in Guilford County. The billboard says:
"That was awkward" and included a verse from Matthew 24:36 stating
"No one knows the day or the hour..."
No comment from Mr. Camping.. who predicted the world would end over the weekend, but has now changed the rapture date to October 2011.
This rapture predictor is a s-l-o-w learner.
Camping has said that he was wrong and that the rapture will occur on Oct 21, 2011 after a tribulation that is lasting only 5 months.
Damn! I still got to pay the bills!
Good grief, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
He’s our broken clock of the month I guess.
Thanks Pollster1 !
So who is the more believable, Mr. Camping or Mr. Gore?

Here’s the formula from the Bible.......no tribulation = no rapture.
As a Christian, I’m not supposed to hate people. But I do hate those people who publicly announce the ETA of the rapture, and pity those who believe in such thing. As cited on the billboard, no one knows when it comes. The Bible has been clear on this issue. Making such predictions only provides ammo to the anti-Christians and may affect those who have little faith in the first place.
I like the picture that’s going around FaceBook. It’s the generic empty outline of a person’s head that FB uses when one hasn’t uploaded a profile pic. Across it is stamped the word “RAPTURED”.
