You have to wonder how The Duke would fit into today’s Hollywood, given that Hollywood has become so liberal, and increasingly in your face about their liberal views.

I was watching some Rifleman episodes and made a casual remark to my husband how violent it now seemed. I made it in a humorous way since it didn’t bother me; I just thought it was funny that Pa managed to kill at least 10 bad men per episode with his son as witness. Then my brother, the film expert, said that the Rifleman came under fire for those reasons during its initial run!
As a kid, I loved the show!
