Yes, plus I am sure that the court was more than happy to grant such an appeal and would do the same for Scott. If there’s cast iron evidence and rock solid proof, tehre should take no longer than two years after the conviction.

According to the article, he might have his case on appeal for two more decades. The “condemned” Peterson might very well die in prison of old age as opposed to lethal injection.

Our adopted son is the same age as Connor would be, and when I reminded of the case, I think about how old that little boy would be.
And you are right, all he had to do was walk away.
To: Eddie01
I was hoping I would never hear his name again.

Clinton wanted McVey dead quickly, lest the truth about Arab involvement went public.

There is a reason for all that. McVeigh (ap?) had done something that was as much against the federal gov and to silence him was as important than any other crime he had committed.
Not to say anything he did was right, but he set up a dangerous precedent by his statements, and his example of using commonly available components. They would have pulled a bin laden on him if he had gotten away.
His fast death sentence and fast execution was to prevent that. He also put a stain on Clinton by doing it during his presidency. That was done during the first black presidents term and the world was supposed to have been love and peace.
He felt our pain, and McV. was not showing his appreciation. So he got the same as Koresh and got a quick execution. Janet was just sad she could not send the FBI sniper teams on him.

There were other reasons too, but I will agree with that....

Although I believe Scott Peterson is guilty I always have to remember that he was convicted on much less evidence than they had on O.J.
