According to Chris Matthews, Sarah Palin is the most divisive figure since Abraham Lincoln "caused" the Civil War. In an odd historical analogy, the Hardball host marveled at Palin's bus tour: "Leading off tonight, civil war on the right. Not since the election of Abraham Lincoln has a Republican caused such a war."
The anchor frothed, "Sarah Palin went right to New Hampshire, serving as a human grenade, blowing up his announcement by saying Romney's health care is a total violation of Tea Party beliefs."

I think the Democrat candidate and the Republican candidate will both be supporters of economic slavery and infanticide (although the Republican will lie about it). There will probably be a “Can’t we all just get along”, Constitutional Union-type candidate.
And there will be Sarah.

I think Sarah has a larger number of people at ONE of her tour stops that Hissy-Chrissy has for total viewership. The tinkle down his leg is getting a little brown and stinky.

Oddly I would agree with Chris...the country is polarized right now and the two polar choices are Palin vs Obama...no mush middleman need apply....
No wonder Matthews has a problem with “Lincoln causing the Civil War”. He managed to avoid the “war” of his generation:
