Even a couple years later, the savagery of this attack still amazes me.

No kidding...

For the past two years, Charla Nash has veiled her face to cover the damage from a vicious attack by her friend’s pet chimpanzee that left the Connecticut mom blind in both eyes and without a nose, ears or lips. The chimp also tore off both of Charla’s hands.

Under obamacare she would not have had the chance at the surgery, cost to much so let her suffer.

In the coming decades as this technology is perfected I’d like to see it used on our boys who got hit with IEDs to see if they can’t get their looks back.

“Brigham and Women’s Hospital”

That hospital SERIOUSLY needs a name change....

There was also the chimp that attacked its owners a few years back.

That’s just a normal chimp attack.

Imagine what it might have done if it had been pissed.

It should be against the law for people to keep these animals.
You never know when they will do something like this.
After all, they are wild animals.

This Oct. 20, 2003 file photo shows Travis, a 10-year-old chimpanzee, sitting in the corner of his playroom at the home of Sandra and Jerome Herold in Stamford, Conn.

My God what a horrible read!

I’m not sure if I’d rather be attacked by a grizzly bear or chimp! I might take the grizzly bear!

An article about this attack in Scientific American says that, pound for pound, a chimpanzee is five times stronger than a human. An adult male also has massive canine teeth. They are violent and aggressive animals and impossible for a human to control fully. The owner of this animal should be in jail.

Maureen O’Sullivan was lucky that Cheetah did not tear her apart when she was making the Tarzan movies. She later wrote that Cheetah was jealous of her. Cheetah was gay and had a crush a Johnny Weismuller. I think she got bit.

From what I could see - her face does not look “fantastic”. Hideous would be a word that would come to mind, grotesque might be another.
