Today is Flag Day. I thought it appropriate to give links to proper flag etiquette and a history of Flag Day.
When the flag is displayed from a staff projecting from a window, balcony, or a building, the union should be at the peak of the staff unless the flag is at half staff.
When flown with flags of states, communities, or societies on separate flag poles which are of the same height and in a straight line, the flag of the United States is always placed in the position of honor - to its own right. ..The other flags may be smaller but none may be larger. ..No other flag ever should be placed above it. ..The flag of the United States is always the first flag raised and the last to be lowered.
Inspired by these three decades of state and local celebrations, Flag Day - the anniversary of the Flag Resolution of 1777 - was officially established by the Proclamation of President Woodrow Wilson on May 30th, 1916. While Flag Day was celebrated in various communities for years after Wilson's proclamation, it was not until August 3rd, 1949, that President Truman signed an Act of Congress designating June 14th of each year as National Flag Day.
Thank you! I will definitely make a monetary donation. I truly appreciate the fact that they do this service with so much honor and dignity. I think that was what I didn’t feel I couldn’t accomplish on my own. (the honor and dignity). I will contact one today but I do realize hiding a torn flag in a closet isn’t dignified either. Thanks!

Trust me when I say that this is intentional. It should
alarm every American.
For a long time, we have noticed that the decor at the White House has changed since BHO moved in.
The Oval Office is now stripped of the traditional red, white, and blue, and replaced with middle eastern wallpaper, drapes, and decor… The hallway that he walks out of to talk to the press now has middle eastern chairs, drapes, etc. And the thing that has bothered me the most is the bright yellow drape behind him every time he speaks from the white house.
It has Arabic symbols on it and has been there from the beginning.
Today I received this and it clearly shows what I have been noticing.
That bright yellow curtain is highly visible, but as you scroll down,
you will see what is predominantly absent. Also, as you look at
the pictures of other presidents speaking from the same spot, look
at the traditional ‘American’ background and decor as opposed to
the new decor.
The flag to this 0 President is like anything else —just a prop— just a tool to secure votes— to deceive the people.
He was honest when he said he refused to wear our flag (but in his mind—is still a Patriot)He personifies his Mentors’ sermon G—dam- America! though it is NOT in the Bible.
