Or the parents who allowed their children to sleep with Michael AFTER the molestation allegations were exposed. As far as I’m concerned, they were just pimping their children for a chance at the good life.
There was one child, Brett Barnes, whose parents were notified that employees at Neverland saw Michael behave inappropriately towards him. One even witnessed Michael perform oral sex on the boy (he was 11 at the time). After police told them about the incidents, the parents refused to cooperate with the investigation and continued to allow their son to have a relationship with Michael.
During the 2005 trial, this boy testified that he slept with Michael until he was 19. I don’t see any logical reason a 19-year-old would sleep with a man in his 40s (especially in a mansion that’s filled with guest units and spare beds) unless there was a sexual component to their relationship—a relationship that his own parents fostered when he was too young to know any better.
It appears that he was allowed to buy children without any investigation into his suitability as a parent.
