Even in his so called 'apology'.....he makes a point of saying....yet again....that he wanted to clarify her 'many' gaffes as to whether she's a flake....AN APOLOGY???...I don't think so!

IMO, his 'apology' was only to justify his question.....PERIOD!

I am very disappointed and disgusted with him....

Just think of ALL the gaffes Obama has made......

...can you even imagine Wallace asking him the same question???????????

CAN YOU!

Michelle had better stop flopping on many of these issues or she’ll lose tea party support. Why couldn’t she just say she is against gay marriage? Rather, she dithered for 3 minutes. Her handlers have a muzzle on her. N hard for her to differentiate herself from Romney with answers like the ones she gave on wallaces show.

...and he chuckled at the end just to show he considered this whole ‘flake thing’ humorous and overblown.

Totally insincere.

I think she is great and she would make a great president but in this case she failed. She actually was trying to explain to him why shes not a flake by rolling out her resume. This weak behavior will never win against zero. We need candidates that will shut down people that attack them.

What do you all think Christie or Allen West, or Palin would have said to him if they got a similar question?

She should have stopped him in his tracks and said that it was an insult and then hit back hard “I dont know Chris, are you a imbecile for asking me a question like that?” I’m no politician but you get my drift.

We cannot have weakness, the press will give her the palin treatment and destroy her halfway into the election. Defending yourself against and outragous accusation is usually worse than the accusation iteself. Remember what happened to Christine Odonnel?

If I were Wallace's boss, he'd be starting a new job search today. Totally unprofessional.

Say whatever you will about Chris Wallace, but he is one of the most balanced, and fair, journalists on the air.

That is definitely damning with faint praise.

“Asked if the campaign believed Wallace’s question was sexist, or if the same line of inquiry would be put to one of the male candidate’s, Bachmann spokeswoman Alice Stewart told ABC News “it was an insulting question all around.”

Wallace later posted a video statement on the Fox News Sunday website, during which he apologized for asking such a question.

“I messed up,” Wallace said. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean any disrespect…”

I believe that Chris Wallace is no different than his father. Chris Wallace is nothing more than a leftwing liberal flake in the mold of his old man Mike Wallace.

Chris Wallace should be fired from FOX and go find a home where he belongs at the Al Gore cable channel with Oberman.

I notice Chris apologized to the viewers instead of addressing Congresswoman Bachman personally. I don’t really call that an apology and apparently Michelle Bachmann doesn’t either.

Did Chris Wallace ask Obama if he was a flake for his statements such as?:

“No, no. I have been practicing...I bowled a 129. It’s like — it was like Special Olympics, or something.”

“Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s....”

“On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today...”

“I’ve now been in 57 states — I think one left to go.” -at a campaign event in Beaverton,

“...you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith...”

“...the Cambridge police acted stupidly...”

” I hear that Dr. Joe Medicine Crow (ph) was around, and so I want to give a shout out...”

“There’s a lot of — I don’t know what the term is in Austrian, wheeling and dealing.”

“Let me introduce to you the next President — the next Vice President of the United States of America, Joe Biden.”

“The point I was making was not that Grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn’t. But she is a typical white person, who, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn’t know, you know, there’s a reaction that’s been bred in our experiences that don’t go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way, and that’s just the nature of race in our society.”

“Come on! I just answered, like, eight questions.”

“In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died — an entire town destroyed.”

“My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you’ll join with me as we try to change it.”

“Ok, look, you know, when I was a kid, I inhaled frequently. That was the point.”

Barack Obama

She did put him in his place - but I don’t think he even realized it.

Then she's doing it wrong.

As far as credentialed...actual...journalists are concerned, he’s better than anyone on the networks, and on cable.

The only one who is better is Britt Hume.

I have a little bit of a different view...I want the indies to watch FNC.

It’s the only place they will get anything resembling the truth.

"When she was a young girl, she babysat Gretchen Carlson."

I love it! Thanks for posting that, 55.

I'll bet Michelle never had to yell at (good) Gretchen for jumping on the beds...like my sitter constantly had to do to me. ;-)
