Attn: FReepers! Please Don’t Blame Orlando For The Casey Anthony Verdict. It Wasn’t Our Jury!

Please do not blame Orlando for the Casey Anthony verdict. Had locals been given a choice, she would convicted overwhelmingly! But we did not get to supply the jurors. They were from Pinellas County, 100 miles and 100 years west of Central Florida. Pinellas County is mostly low class retirees in St. Petersburg, knuckle-dragging cretins in Pinellas Park and the denizens of Scientology World Headquarters in Clearwater. The average IQ in Highpoint and Safety Harbor is less than the air temperature on ays when we wory about the citrus crop freezing.

I grew up there, escaped, and recognize there are a few intelligent people there such as Pinellas County FReepers, (but not former governor Charlie Crist from St. Pete. BTW, Crist, the Gay Blade, has now joined the biggest ambulance chasing firm in the State, and his show “wife” hasn’t been seen with him in years.)

So please, when you think about the all-but-convicted murderess going free here, don’t blame us. BTW, I know Judge Perry well, and he is a VERY good guy. Don’t blame him or us for the jury’s idiocy.

As a white male living in California I am have been blamed by the right and the left for every problem in the world. The right, (FR especially ) lumps me in with every freak in San Francisco and every stupid thing they do. I have learned to deal with this stupidity. Blame is rarely built on fact any attempt to use facts will just feed the flames of stupidity. A radio guy out here said that the only solace he could find in the verdict that California wasn’t alone in having stupid juries. I still haven’t decided if I will choose to blame you, but I am willing to take bribes.

It is amazing how many FReepers resemble emotional head-exploding liberals today.

Emotional FReepers and the MSM agree today. Sad.

Perhaps we should just eliminate jury trials in the U.S. and go straight to the gallows.

Actually, emotional head-exploding liberals tend to be against the death penalty and tough crime laws.

Which is exactly why the jury was picked from someplace else, so there was no Nancy disGrace lynch-mob.

Not today, FRiend.

Today you are in league with Nancy Grace, Joy Behar, and the CBS chick that actually cried about the verdict.

The sane, rational people are the ones accepting the verdict.

If the prosecution had charged her with something that she’d serve 20 years, Casey probably would have been convicted. “ ====

The lesser charges you spoke of were in the indictment. They were availed to the jury. The jury chose, instead, the popcorn soap opera of the family disfunction over the circumstantial evidence they were did not understand. They identified with the soap opera entirely and must have skipped every science class they ever had, which left them closed to the obvious. (In my humble opinion.) :)

I know exactly what you are saying.
I live in Anthony Weiner’s district. :(

That’s exactly it!!! One of the jurors said today, Casey was basically a good mother. You could have knocked me over with a feather.

But you CAN blame the Orange County Sheriffs Department for not following up on early leads on the location of the child’s body. “ ====

Boy do you have a point there. Heartbreaking error on Orlando responders.

When she went out to party, she’d knock the kid out

If I had to bet, I'd bet that's exactly what happened.

But, of course, justice is not about bets, it's about facts. And the fact is Casey Anthony went 30 days without reporting her child missing.

If you believe she did not kill the child, then someone else took her. The first few days would have been critical. But Casey did nothing. She should have been convicted of criminal negligence at the least.

I was on two juries this year - a grand jury, and a mock trial jury. While neither did as badly as this one, dumbed down is the word. Much time was wasted, as perhaps half of the jurors could not understand and follow the simplest instructions they were given, and this half included jury foremen.

Television, MSM, spoke through those jurors mouths. The Big Pharma company that organized the mock trial to, presumably, compile a profile of an ideal juror from my county will have a tough time winning the stupid civil suit against it.

If they had the option of going for something lesser, but chose to absolve, then that definitely was a mistrial.

I was under the impression the prosecutor was going for broke.

I’d spit on you given the opportunity.

That is a horrid thing to say.

And a terrible reflection on your parents. You're supposed to be past saying such things once you've got Kindergarten under your belt.

Obama authorized the killing of Osama bin Laden by going into Pakistan, a sovereign nation, without their permission. Maybe we should also be against that because we don’t want to agree with anything Obama does. Osama should have been tried in a court of law!

Just curious, why do you want me executed? Because I support the Constitution?

Well I am willing to die for the Constitution.

I agree. To almost completely absolve her of responsibility is a travesty of justice.
