Naked Thief Tackled During Robbery Attempt

The victim and the thief fought until the robber's clothes came off

When Miami police responded to a robbery in progress call Wednesday they received a nude awakening.

Cops arrived at NE 3rd Avenue and 82nd Street and found a man holding a naked man on the ground, who was accused of breaking into a car and stealing the radio.

According to authorities, the robbery suspect, 17-year-old Kendrick Davis, was clothed at first, but decided to pull his streak routine to escape.

It didn't work.

The owner of the car, who was getting ready to go to work, and a witness chased Davis down the street and a fight broke out, an arrest report stated.

As the fight progressed, Davis began stripping his clothes off.

That didn't stop the victim from tackling the suspect and pinning him to the ground until cops arrived.

Davis, now nude, was anything but bashful and yelled profanities at the officer and the guy who violently helped undressed him.

Police say Davis had several open arrest warrants, as well as another car radio and GPS in his possession, which are believed to be stolen.

The teen was charged with grand theft and burglary.

The writer needs to learn the difference between robbery and burglary.

Since Kendrick’s pants were probably already hanging halfway off his butt, pulling them down the rest of the way was easy.

I think breaking into and entering a motor vehicle to steal contents is considered a burglary. Comments anyone?

Probably back on the street before the officer had the complete report written up.

Can’t expect to hold someone on such ‘circumstantial’ evidence now can we?

If the car burglar were smart he would have started urinating and defecating all over himself just as he was being captured. LOL.

“Do cops get paid enough for this?”

Yes.

In fact, they are grossly overpaid.

Exactly.

Burglary, not robbery.

Robbery is generally stealing from a person ; Burglary is stealing from a place

So a vehicle (or place) is burgled—not robbed?
