I think Casey actually believed the world she constructed was real. Girl is a complete whack job.

Kids always know things about the neighbors the parents never suspect.

Where the sociopath seeks to please (so they can get their way) the psychopath seeks to reorganize everything (so they can have a reality matching their thoughts).

It's all the same piece of craziness, but I think folks go too far imagining that partying all night is her main motivator. She's wandering around in a haze of crazy word alignments and manifestations.

She'll kill again.

BTW, this may well be the start of a sort of schizophrenia that begins to manifest itself in the early 20s.

We used to notice these folks much more before it became common for folks to walk down the street talking to themselves while holding a cellphone up to the ear!.

I don’t think partying all the time is her main motivator.

I think it was spite. The partying was the FU to certain people.

Spite is a normal emotion. This gal is CRAZY. What she is up to hasn't got anything to do with other people ~ it's just part of a crazy jumbled up alternate reality in her broken mind.

She should not be turned loose.

If you read some of those transcripts from family members you get a real picture of what Casey is.

She is a doozy.

Last night someone had video of Casey at the defense table.

She was spitting angry about something. They freeze framed that face and it reminded me of Cujo, the rabid dog. You could see a couple people at that table trying to rein her in. I think that female attorney that sat beside her was there for that very purpose. To keep her in line.

When angered, I bet Casey totally loses it and becomes capable of about anything. All control is gone.

You could see the unbridled rage. I can’t imagine how bad that would get in a different setting and with no one there to control her.

Argh

It’s rumored that Casey’s lawyer has just bought a white Ford Bronco and was seen driving up and down a Florida Interstate trolling for TV helicopters while waiting for Casey’s release this coming weekend...

The jury convicted her of lying.

I do not believe Casey for one minute...but if “zanny” was/is an illegal there could be multiples of them using same name, same apartment- they trade IDs around regularly. Not likely to be the case here- but hopefully LEO did thoroughly check out that possibility.

LEO was dealing with so many lies I am not sure they had any idea where lies ended and truth began. I don’t believe Casey’s “Zanny” was a real person, if so why would she not have reported it immediately if the babysitter/nanny kept the child? That is the issue this case always goes back to...if someone else was involved, if it was an accident- why not report it?

Why? Because she is actually CRIMINALLY INSANE.

She has no business being on the streets ~ no one can be safe around her.

Tammy, the Zanny person is a PLACE in the neighborhood adjacent to the spot where she left her baby.

I know it is a theory that she got the idea for the name from the properties/owners near the Anthony home. I am referring to the other story that a person with the name was located and did have a small connection to the apartments Casey claimed she left Caylee at. That person is sueing her for involving her in this I believe. In this case I am sure Casey made it all up, part of her web of lies.

People do need to be aware that illegals do pass around identities so it is possible for more than one person to be using the same name in one location even if the name is not common. Some freepers seemed to think the idea of there being more than one was impossible- not if illegals were sharing identities. I do NOT think this is the case with this story, but it is something that happens and I do hope LEO looked into that possiblity.

I am so upset about this case, I am not happy with the law enforcement there, do not think they did a thorough job of investigating. Too many people with connections to Casey have come out and said they were not interviewed at all, many loose ends. I think when law enforcement decided Casey did it they quit investigating- if they had kept on it fiercely they might have even found more evidence against Casey. I think once they became convinced they thought it was enough.

I am also mad at the prosecution, they pushed so hard for the death penalty that I think that is why they lost the case. It is pretty hard to convince a jury to go for the death penalty or even life without solid evidence. Circumstantial evidence is evidence but even I would have had a hard time finding a person guilty to the point of death or life with what they had. Another lawyer said there was a charge of child neglect resulting in death that should have been charged- it carries about a 15 year+ sentence and the jury might have went for that.

So disturbing that she is just going to walk...

The prosecution pushed for all possible punishments ranging from the death penalty to simple manslaughter.

Did you read the indictment?

The problem isn't with the prosecution ~ it's with jurors who failed to recognize a murdered child.

I would imagine we will find prosecutors in future cases to set aside an hour or two for a discussion of dead bodies.

Look, this woman is schizophrenic. Her condition worsens. People who've seen the "decent into schizophrenia" in a 20 something will never forget it. There's no "normal pattern" for it, but the descent happens and the afflicted person invents all sorts of reasons why what they imagine is true ~ they can even start living their imaginary life. Sometimes they kill and we lock them up.

I think the state should have gotten more highly experienced psychiatrists involved in the examination of this woman ~ but other than that I think it's enough to say that hope springs eternal among family members and friends who see this, and even among psychiatrists.

You see schizophrenia is not curable. It's barely treatable. Best that can be done is pretty close to just zonking them so they are not able to act out what they believe they need to do to help themselves.

It sometimes starts as something looking like plain old clinical depression, or even bi-polar disorder. But it doesn't stop there. It goes on into full hallucinations ~ which does not mean you are a raging, screaming demon, but you are living your life inside a shell of illusions.

A "web of lies" doesn't do it justice.

A friend of mine years back had two sons that suffered from the condition. As it developed he became fearful that the older one was becoming dangerous. He wasn't breaking laws, but my friend was persuasive with the police so they "kept their eyes on him" ~ checked his apartment, watched where he went ~ a number of things.

Then one day 5 women showed up dead around the neighborhood. The cops picked up the older son. There was no evidence he'd done anything, but within a short time they realized the younger son had murdered them.

It was just a case of simple progression into schizophrenia. One son followed a slower route. The other son appears to have just stepped into in no time at all advancing from casual rape to casual murder.

The older son never did get into violence that I knew of. I lost contact years ago with the family, but the oldest son was kind of in an arrested state. The younger got crazier and crazier. They did a trial and socked him away for 5 life sentences.

He's featured on a blog that discusses serial killers.

You really have to WATCH THE VIDEO CLIP of this to get the effect.
Casey Anthony is a psychopath. Heaven help us. I imagine Caylee saw this often:

A childhood friend of my now 29 year old daughter descended into schizophrenia. In high school, the kids thought he just had a strange sense of humor. As time went on, he started leaving strange, word salad poetry messages on our answering machine. A couple of years ago, the messages started sounding threatening. Threatening enough that we called the police and filed a restraining order. (That didn’t make us feel very safe).

A year ago, he bludgeoned his mother to death in her front yard.
