LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville mother was arrested after police said they found her and her three children asleep in front of a home.
According to arrest records, 27-year-old Susan Ford was passed out in the front yard of a house in the 1400 block of South 28th Street around 12:30 a.m.Monday.
Police said her three children, ages 5, 3 and 7 months old, were asleep on the sidewalk.
The two older children were laying on the sidewalk, and the infant was in a stroller, police said.
After the officer woke Ford up, she was confused and appeared intoxicated, according to arrest records.
Police said Ford admitted to having consumed several alcoholic beverages.

What she needs is four or five more children so she can afford some adequate housing and some ribs.
I’m just impressed that all the kids had a nap too, wish all three of mine would nap at once so I could heh.
Why is it against the law to sleep in the yard? Or on the sidewalk, since we ALL own it right?
Ford is charged with public intoxication and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Once the social workers show up, the charges will be dropped and she will get the kids back. Bet on it.
wait, she was still drunk AFTER she woke up??
That is pretty drunk. At least she was able to keep an eye on her kids.
heh
Well “apparently intoxicated” be damned!
The police now have the power to roust someone for the crime of being asleep on their own property? By what right did the police even set foot on the property without permission?
The camel already has three legs in the tent, folks.
Doesn’t sound like it was her property.
Ages 5, 3 and 7mos. Well now we know something she likes to do other than drink!
