It shoots a 7.92X33, very difficult to find, but not impossible. I read where this case can be made by shortening an 8mm case.
I wonder if that girl knows that the weapon she carries is probably worth more money than her entire family made that last five years?
“Whahs bama’s stash?”
Not really surprising. In my Third World travels I encountered a stunning variety of old and rare small arms carefully maintained in working order by local armories for decades. The African and Central American regions are most notable for this. Rarely fired, and rightfully considered a major threat to whoever was in power at the time, the gun toters were usually issued only a handful of rounds, or the magazines were kept in the possession of a squad leader, and only issued as needed. In some cases there might be three weapons sharing one magazine. One of my escorts in the Congo carried an old Sten gun, but the magazine was carried by his CO, and begrudgingly issued intermittently to my escort. In Africa, the gun is big juju. Magazines and ammo aren’t always necessary. Merely the presence of the weapon (functioning or not) will suffice.
I hate Illinois Nazi’s !
That lake front drive or Maxwell street...?
Airsoft makes STG 44’s now ?
The 28th day on earth....
Precedent Erkel Mugabes VIPR task force from Big Sis’s wayward home fo lil sisters.
Car Jacking Summer Camp.
I think the girls carrying the sticks are the ones in basic weapons training..........
I only see 2 weapons in the pic that shoot the same round. The M-98 and the Hakim.
Logistics for that “army” must be interesting.
Extracted this statement from Wikipedia; “New semi-automatic reproductions of the MKb 42(H), MP 43/1, and StG 44 are being manufactured in Germany today by HZA Kulmbach GmbH[18] in the original 7.92x33mm Kurz chambering.”
So, if reproductions of the STG44 are currently being manufactured, then stands to reason ammo is also being manufactured for it. Too lazy to search for that though :)
Where the hell did she get the StG 44?
When not ready to fire, get your finger OFF the trigger!
Sad that the girl in the foreground has an STG44. Quite a historic firearm and very difficult and expensive to get a real one here in the US. That one looks to be in decent shape too.
Our gun laws are shameful here.
I would love to have that Stg44, it was the original AK47
PRVI partisan makes it, costs about the same as 308
You can buy it on the intenet for cheap.
Noticed that a few years ago. I don’t know where or how, but there is a mark for 7,92 Kurtz here.
“Afghanistan does not surprise me - some of those people back up in the remote tribal areas are toting 100 year old rifles and are quite happy with them. “
Hey, I’m happy with my 98 Mauser in 280 Improved, and my P14 in 375 Ouch and Ouch, and even my favorite pistol celebrates it’s 100th birthday this year.
Safe that weapon, sister!
(finger on trigger, muzzle not in up or down attitude, safety status unknown)
Talk about someone you don’t want to see late at night walking home from the bar. Talk about sleeping with a 10 and waking up with a 2...how about sleeping with a 2 and waking up with a nightmare.
I’d be 1st in line for shots at the medical clinic.
Does anyone have a pic of Khaddafi’s inner circle?
I’m not certain it was genuine but they were beauties all right.
