My wife and I spent two years traveling around the western
US looking for the right spot. We hit NM, AZ, NV, CO, UT,
ID, WA, and OR. We checked taxes, corp. taxes, you name it.
When all was said and done, we left our place in Marin Co.,
Bay area SF and moved to Grants Pass, Or.
Climate is almost identical to Napa valley, small town of
33k, great schools, parks, set in a natural bowl in the
surrounding mountains. If you need something big, you go
to Medford 25 minutes away. Best thing we ever did.
