Doctors begin major stem cell trial for MS patients

A major clinical trial will investigate whether stem cells can be safely used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS).

It is hoped eventually to slow, stop or even reverse the damage MS causes to the brain and spinal cord.

The trial, involving up to 150 patients across Europe, is due to start later this year.

Dr Paolo Muraro from Imperial College London said: "There is very strong pre-clinical evidence that stem cells might be an effective treatment."

Researchers will collect stem cells from the bone marrow of patients, grow them in the laboratory and then re-inject them into their blood.

The stem cells will make their way to the brain where it is hoped that they will repair the damage caused by MS.

Very interesting phenomena. I can understand why you’d seek to find out more.

“What are your suggestions for overcoming their subconscious reward/punishment system? If your theory is correct, I’d like to try to help my DIL.”

First, here is a simple test. Close your eyes and say to yourself 5 times silently “I love myself.” Now stop and be aware of the level of muscle tension in your body, especially around the lower neck area.

Second, close your eyes and say to yourself 5 times silently “I hate myself.” Again, be aware of your muscle tension.

Do not allow your intellect to dictate what you feel. Just feel it.

In people with a reversed reward punishment system, the muscle tension is quite high during the positive statement, and relaxed during the negative statement. While this is quite simple, it works as a screening process.

I have never found a person with cancer who did not have this reversal.

The problem occurs in the methodology used to store childhood memories. They are usually blocked from retrieval in order to protect the child. This is what causes most childhood amnesia for adults trying to recollect events. One of the best techniques is to use an emotional bridging technique as they allow access. However, much anxiety pain is caused by the bodies defense mechanism trying to block the retrieval of these memories. Having a competent therapist guide you through the process is by far the best. Cognitive therapy NEVER works to remove or repair an emotional memory. At best it blocks access to it.

This is a little more complex than I can put in a few paragraphs. Safety is really important while you are going through the process as it can become overwhelming otherwise.

“Actually, based on your theory, it would be more amazing for anyone to NOT have MS.”

knittnmom wrote that.

(Maslov’s base layer in the triangle)

Maslow.

Rather than hijacking the thread with your Carlos Castaneda brand of psychology, why not put it in a vanity thread of your own?

He spelled it both ways. I have read many texts using the “V” It does not matter to me. His work was greatly improved post-humously when they added self-transcendence above self-actualization

Maslov
(Russian), or Maslova (feminine), is a popular Russian and Russian-Jewish surname which may refer to:

People Abraham Maslow, American psychologist Aleksandr Maslov, Russian ex-footballer Alexey Maslov, Russian Ground Forces general, current commander-in-chief of the Ground Forces James Maslow, American actor and singer Nina Maslova, Russian actress

How did you know my true identity.....LOL. Vanity thread... No that would not be Castanada style. He preferred to be the ghost...

I love his quote: “I’m not insane, you know. Well, maybe a little insane. But not ridiculously insane!”

Yes. You are right. The symptoms developed later, and around the same time for all three ex-hostages.

I can’t even imagine what those people were put through.

I came across this video about how this lady beat her MS with the paleo diet. It’s very interesting and informative.
