The wreck files: Have scientists found a crashed flying saucer on the seabed?
Daily Mail UK ^ | 08.02.11

A mysterious circle on a grainy scan, this is what scientists are claiming is finally evidence that Earth has been visited by aliens. Researchers have claimed the fuzzy outline is a flying saucer that ended up 300ft down on the ocean floor between Sweden and Finland. They were stunned when sonar scans taken while searching for a century-old wreck showed up the shape against the dirt.

Here's the real answer from the article, "however, his team do not have the money or resources to examine the shape further."

BTW: It does look like the millennium falcon.

Back in the 1880's, the Czar had a basically circular gunboat built, as an experiment. It had two huge guns, and all other machinery, stacks, bridges, was either under or over the path of the guns.

The theory being, that, with two propellers, it could literally turn in it's own length, spinning to fire quickly in any direction. It didn't work, being underpowered, uncontrollable and un-seaworthy.

On the sea bottom between Sweden and Finland? (Which was Russian until WW1?) Near Kronstad, the Czar's navy Base?

I can't be the only one who has heard of it.

There are no volcanic formations in the Gulf of Bothnia. This is a heavily glaciated area anyway.

Was he hanging upside down during that interview?

[the alternate explanation is just too bizarre to contemplate]
