(CBS/AP) - Today in "God, could they be more French?" French baker Jean-Louis Hecht has rolled out a 24-hour automated baguette dispenser, promising warm bread for hungry night owls, shift workers or anyone else who doesn't have time to pick one up during their bakery's opening hours.

Personally, I think it’s ingenious.
Even in the French army you see the men picking up their daily supply of baguettes from the mess hall, to take back to their squads.
A baguette, some garlic/olive oil dip and a couple of glasses of wine and I can rule the world (or I can after I fall asleep and put on more pounds).
This is great!
With the French soldiers, I learned to dip my baguette into my wine, that and a little butter and coffee made an adequate breakfast.
I admire you for that experience.
Sounds like a perfect meal and is a staple diet for me.
I manage the pounds by moderation, though it's difficult.
I would love to see this in America! Put it beside a machine that would sell good cheese in 3 or 4 oz sizes and life would be perfect. :)
