I think I am down to Perry and Herman Cain,

Perry is the only one that has come out strongly against Global Warming Scams and Herman Cain may be the only one smart enough to turn it into a business decision that can come to a logical conclusion that it is a scam.

Another TX Governor and a Bush protege. the Bush comparisons will fly fast and furious - hope the GOP is prepared to counter the "Bush III" taunts.

Fair disclosure: I don't live in TX, don't know Perry. If he's the guy running against 0, he's got my vote...

The more I've read about him, the more faith I have in him to be a great choice for us.

Obviously you don't read much.

Perry/Caine?

Perry/Rubio?

Perry/Bachmann?

Palin/Perry?

Palin were long in making their up their minds about whether to get into the presidential race.

ONLY according to those who want to CONTROL others! And that is NOT a conservative trait! The more the media and GOP elite yap - the more they expose themselves.

Since Romney isn't flying with the conservatives - the GOP is now using Perry in their 'anyone but SARAH' campaign.

I think maybe they mean pro-Amnesty, pro cap & tax Christie.

I thought enough had been exposed about that RINO that we were done with him. I guess not.

I haven't made a decision as to whom I'll support yet (although I have already decided who I WON'T - Romney), but I want to point out that there's no love lost between Bush and Perry.

They're not particularly fond of each other.

Like you say, the MSM would portray Bush and Perry as blood brothers.

Yep. He’d win in a heartbeat. I don’t know anything about this judge but, you know, not all Muslims are bad people. There are Ismaili Muslims who themselves are persecuted by other Muslims for their tolerance to “non-believers”.

Of course, you know none of that matters now. All that matters is that in the past year ol’ Rick has strapped on his liberty boots, given a speech or two to the Tea Party crowd with guns a’blazin, written a book about his true blue conservatism and had Texas sized prayer meetings. He’s seen the light, I tell ya! He’s born again! Dipped in the blood of Reagan! Hallelulluah! LOL!

Didn’t Perry rate a D+ by Numbers USA on immigration matters?

Those debt numbers include LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. You’re holding Perry responsible for those?

Any Republican, even Huntsman, would be vastly better than Obama. When Obama was elected, I said in one sense it was a good thing because he would wake up people instead of McCain dragging the Republican brand through the mud for four years. Fine...the people have learned the lesson, and we can't survive four more years of it.

They're not particularly fond of each other.

Did you see the thread the other day where Perry supposedly called Bush for his birthday and then asked his thoughts about him running for President?

Anyone is better than Obamageddon, except for maybe Scary Reid or Piglosi.

Perry is better than Romney and can beat him in the primary. I do not want Romney - at nearly all costs - and if it means I support someone who is a tad RINO-esque and is a real leader to get us out of this awful economic mess, then that’s what I’ll do. Romney is just Obama with better hair and smaller ears.
