Food Network is based in New YorkCity and everybody involved is a lib, as is everybody at it’s sister channel HGTV, both Scripps owned.
Why Bourdain thinks anybody should care about his opinion is beyond me. He is arrogant, rude, and without merit. He is doing nothing useful with his self-indulgent life.
Deen and Ray are teaching the average person how to cook, whether you like their choice of ingredients or not. They make no claim that their food is healthful. It doesn’t need to be.
Our current national obsession with forcing healthful eating (and guilt) on everybody else is the antithesis of liberty. I’m surprized to see so much of it on FR.

bourdain is a chef, deen and ray are cooks. cooks show you new ways of making old favourites. chefs like bourdain show off. you’ll probably never hear him say “now you can do this at home..”
completely different styles of preparing food that shouldn’t be compared.

It contains dairy in the form of whey protein. Milk is the #1 allergen. Humans have difficulty digesting cows milk, whether they are aware of it or not
and I must say that many of us are painfully aware. So in your oppinion is butter better?

Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's live-in lover is not foodie Rachel Ray. The live-in is bottle-blond hottie, Sandra Lee, Food Network star, author and magazine publisher...all enterprises connected in some manner with the food, crafts, decorating genre.
The Catholic Church has commented openly on Andrew's very public mistress arrangement if I remember correctly.

I loved watching Guy’s Triple D show, when we had cable. Real America. I saw one (1) trailer for Anthony Bore Dane and that was enough to make me never want to watch his show.

The choice between butter and margarine can be argued all day with both sides having good and bad opinions. Personally I believe one should limit the amount of either....unfortunately I don't follow my own advice. The process for making margarine in a factory most likely mimics in some ways the process taking place in a cow when it turns grass into milk!!!

Why would people tune in to watch misery? I know they do, but I’m not one of them. I have enough problems in life, and in my off time, I like to forget them and soak in the sunshine.
Life’s to short to waste being miserable when you don’t have to.

Guy Fieri and his show “DDD” are maybe my favorite on the food channel. This guy, Anthony Bourdain, is just another blowhard chef wannabe. A shock-jock of the kitchen kind who needs to rag on everyone else. Paula D does some great recipes. I know, I’ve made them and ate them. Not a good daily diet, but then again, moderation is the name of the game.

What’s with ‘chefs’ these days? The food snobbery is incredible! Regular food that is considered palatable by normal people is considered ‘bad’ and low class. These ‘chefs’ love to concoct ‘new and edgy’ food by throwing together things no one has before....rice with pureed camel liver and grapes, lobster with chocolate sauce, marshmallows and chipotle...just bizarre combinations! GAG worthy! Most of it was ‘never done’ before because only a garbage disposal would eat it!
And they call ‘dinner’ a small blob of something on a plate painted and dotted with odd sauces and 2 baby vegetables. All this for $45!
Deen’s recipes are solid, real people food. Not for daily eating, but neither is Lobster Thermidor a la Chef Frou Frou!
This guy is a food snob. Real cooks in Cajun country would kick his a**.He should shut to the up.
