In this video commentary, I talk about what is going on in Europe. Is Europe unraveling? What’s causing it? Will the Euro be dissolved? And how is Greece’s situation vis-à-vis Germany like the U.S. and China?

I might watch it, except that there’s a transparent “sign up for my newsletter” popup overlaying the video that doesn’t seem to have any way to close it except for the “sign me up” clickie.
Not on mine. And since the background of the popup is transparent, I can’t tell where the corner is without it.
Here in the US we are debt spending out of control and I expect that will go bust. My belief is that it will be a crisis deliberately created in order to destroy the U.S. Constitution and give us a "Progressive" (I.E. Socialist) governmental solution.
Probably a dictator at first, and for the Progressive (according to their hopes) integration with European Socialism (be just like them).
Pray that America would Repent (on many levels) and that our out of control irresponsible spending would be reversed with Responsible and fervent cuts and a return to fiscal sanity.
I know Freepers like to call Morris ‘ol’ toe sucker’ BUT I find him to be one of the sharpest political commentators out there.
This is a very good explanation of why the Euro is loved in Germany and why it is destroying weak European economies.

Like some others here, I’m finding it impossible to access the Morris article. Am using a small notebook computer, and the ad (actually just part of the ad is viewable) fills my entire screen, and there’s no way to scroll far enough to view or access the corner “X” that should be there to close the ad.

Jeez, talk about revisionary history. Greece scammed it's way into the euro zone, for whatever reasons (more Euro-subsidies, my best guess - or perhaps just macho status postering). They lied and falsified economic data so they could play.
If nations were people, Greece would be the pickpocket that wiggled its way into the upper class party, and lived well for a while on the pickings. Now caught out and busted - it's the rich folks' fault! Well, of course... (where have we heard that before?)
Correction: “revisionary” should have been “revisionist”. You know what I mean...;-)
