Boy Scout Dwight Donahue achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. His Eagle Service Project was organizing and leading 10 volunteers to restore the cannon at the Evergreen Cemetery in Bisbee for the veterans.
Donahue is a member of Scout Troop 401 and is sponsored by the Warren Community Church.
Boy Scout Dallen Haws also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
Haws organized and led 50 people in creating a 80-foot trail at the Ramsey Canyon Nature Preserve that is wheelchair and handicap accessible.
Haws is a member of Scout Troop 435 and is sponsored by the LDS Church located on Yaqui Street.
Boy Scout Philip Ulmen achieved the rank of Eagle Scout as well.
Ulmen organized and led 18 volunteers to build a food garden for the Huachuca Hospitality House.
The goal of the garden is to provide the people at the Hospitality House with fresh produce.
Ulmen is a member of Scout Troop 464 that meets at Kino Hall at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council No. 4584.

I remember reading about an Eagle Scout back in 2009 who earned all 121 Scout merit badges and 20 Eagle Palms...at that time, only two other Scouts had ever earned all 121 merit badges.

Texas A&M offers an Eagle Scout scholarship of $2400 and qualifies out-of-state applicants for in-state tuition rates. Quite a deal.
Really! I have two boys close to Eagle. I’ll have to mention it.

It doesn’t happen all the time, but I worked as the Registrar at Glendale BSA, we had a few with numerous Eagle palms as well. One youth got eagle at the age of 13. Went on the earn numerous palms after that and he is still not 18.

A: The scouts have far higher standards and more rigorous requirements than Harvard Law.

Our son is currently working on his project, a flag retirement ceremony area at the local veteran’s home.
It’ll have a fire pit surrounded by the flags of all five services, a US flag and a POW-MIA flag.

Rick Perry is an Eagle Scout
I’m a proud Eagle Mom; our #1 son is an Eagle. After he’d gotten his, I read an interesting book written by a Mom of FOUR Eagles scouts, in which she suggested that young men get their Eagles before they reach 10th grade. Her reasoning was that since by that age the boys would be driving, and they’d be hip deep in high school work, they’d do better doing the Eagle work while they’re younger. Makes a lot of sense to me.
I just came back from an Eagle Board of Review. Our newest Eagle Scout is a wonderful young man whose personality has simply blossomed during his scouting career. When he started scouting five years ago he could barely look at you. Now he is a confident and competent young man about to go to college to become a teacher and guidance counselor. We’re really very proud of him. He’s our troop’s 52nd scout in 51 years.

Well....since we’re bragging; I have a Eagle Scout grandson in the Navy and a HS freshman grandson who is bound and determined to make Eagle a year sooner that his older brother.
The confidence and self assurance the Scouts instill in the Eagle Scouts is as valuable as a college degree. Probably more so because it teaches them to handle things that will actually happen in their lives

But but but....I thought the scouts were bad because they don’t let gay guys go camping with little boys
Saw this article on FR last year. 83 Eagle Scouts in on Utah National Guard Battalion. Has to be some kind of record! Talk about a squared away battalion.....
